Taratinder -> Tarantorch -> Charantula

Taratinder, the Desert Spider Pokemon. By dragging its paws along the patches on its abdomen, it sparks fire. The flames are weak, so it uses them to distract as it runs away. Fire/Bug

Tarantorch, the Desert Spider Pokemon. It ignites the hairs on its abdomen before throwing them like projectiles. It may end up bald after an arduous battle, but the hairs grow back. Fire/Bug

Charantula, the Desert Spider Pokemon. Its hairs are covered in microscopic barbs, anchoring them in the target as they burn. If all else fails, flames erupt from its six knees to burn everything to the ground. Fire/Bug

Actually, This is how the webcam was invented.

At Cambridge University, they were sick of checking the coffee pot level, so Quentin Stafford-Frasier wrote client software for a greyscale 128x128 camera hooked up to an acorn archemedes computer.  Paul Jardetzky wrote the server program.

Technology always comes full circle.

Necessity is the mother of invention.

PEOPLE WITH ADHD WHO HAVE ONLINE CLASS I HAVE JUST DISCOVERED A BREAKTHROUGH IN FOCUSING TECHNOLOGY:

This extension lets you doodle on any webpage just like you would doodle on a piece of paper in class to focus. I just added it to my chrome and it’s been a godsend. I watched an 11 minute video on LDAP servers without getting distracted once! I don’t know if other browsers offer this specific app as an extension but I know for sure it’s offered through chrome. I hope this helps other people as much as it’s helped me!

yeah can I get a uhhhh

Grass -> Grass -> Grass/Dark

Had the concept for these guys for a long while, back when I still had a dA account. I think the old title for that piece was ‘Languid Leafy Lizards’, or something to that effect. I wish I still had that file, I liked the art a lot, and had to recreate these lizards from memory. I think it went okay!

Lymynm / UB-Line The long Pokémon Dark / Fairy

S- This Ultra Beast traveled from another world. Although seemingly possessing a humanoid like body, this beast is actually a single long bodied life-form mimicking a person’s figure.

M- An Ultra Beast. It hunts by impersonating other’s actions before coiling and suffocating it’s prey in an unbreakable bond.

Kohleria tigridia

This showy flower belongs to the species Kohleria tigridia (Lamiales - Gesneriaceae), a neotropical plant formerly known as Capanea grandiflora. It is a bat-pollinated flower found in Mexico, Central and South America.

It has been proposed that flower-visiting bats provide two important benefits to plants: they deposit large amounts of pollen and a variety of pollen genotypes on plant stigmas and, compared with many other pollinators, they are long-distance pollen dispersers.

As you can see in the picture, the anthers of the flower are bonded together, which is a distinctive feature of the family.
