in honor of barbie movie, i dug my Midge ™ out of my parents’ shed so i could show you all just how she worked if you’ve never witnessed it in action

as you can see, Midge has a magnetic pregnancy belly that contours to her unpregnant body

now inside the pregnancy belly of course is the barbie baby. it comes right out, no vagina to exit through. and if you look closely you can see that her underwear is also painted across the bottom of the belly. there is no mistaking this for a woman with any genitalia. just underwear.

here is the baby within the belly. i don’t think either of these is the correct way a baby should sit in a uterus but do i look like a fucking doctor to you?

I thought we all agreed that Freudian psychoanalysis was garbage and yet I see at least one post per day about how horniness is the sole engine of creativity and the thing that makes the world go round. Like. Y'all know that's literally Freud, right? You're doing Freud again. I would like you to stop.

I think a big part of the problem is people saw the increase in anti-sex purity culture and tried to combat that by swinging wildly in the other direction. Like yes, kill the voice in your head that says sex is always dirty and bad but also understand that if something doesn't have sex and isn't horny that isn't automatically bad thing either. We can have both. We can have gay characters that just hold hands and still show love. We can have women that are unabashedly horny.

Just don't act like one or the other is "more correct" and that if something is centered around sex that makes it more "authentic". Sex should be a neutral thing! And having it or not, desiring it or not, should be simply parts of the human experience. Neither should be held up as the "right" thing.

At this point I'm just waiting for someone to claim that the word "transsexual" is a slur.

I mean yeah I've seen that one already.

That and "homosexual is a slur", and don't forget the "queer is a slur" crowd.. at some point you'd think they'd be so terrified of slurs they'd just stop talking all together, but alas we don't have that kind of fortune..

Oh please please please please please let this aesthetic become widely known as incel design.

For anything other than one of those scrolling updates breaking news pages, you can access it from the Archive usually within an hour or two of it being published. No paywall. You want international news? You got it. Opinion? That too. Recipes? It's all here. Page not yet archived? There's a button for that and now you got it.

There are various paywall-evading extensions and tricks out there, but they don't always work. This does.

Go forth and read the newspaper.
