What is y'all opinion on this last Jerma stream? I think it was unnecessary for him to kill those guys. At least it was a quick death compared to the rest of Jerma's victims i guess

newer pikmin not being named after their colors will never stop annoying me. its like the least consequential thing ever but it annoys me nonetheless

THEYRE ALL STILL DIFFERENT COLORS WHY DID YOU STOP NAMING THEM AFTER THEIR COLORS

i stand by my theory that it’s a part of pikmin worldbuilding. See, Olimar is in tune with nature. he sees the beauty of pnf 404, and has an intrinsic link with the pikmin the other characters don’t show. So he names pikmin he finds after colors. He loves them and sees them as they are.

the koppaites however, care only for functionality over style. They don’t see the pikmin as equals, just as tools to continue the mission. so they name pikmin species after what their use is.

if louie discovered a new pikmin species he’d probably name it after their flavor. or what dish they’d best be made into. we’d get grillmin and sauteemin

plastic bag floating in the pacific ocean: ahhh im so worthless…my dreams of entering the stomach of a marine animal could never be realized…..

leatherback sea turtle: a transparent floating mass in the water….a delicious jellyfish perchance 😳

guy who doesn’t like turn-based rpgs: let me be clear, i do NOT like turn-based rpgs, fundamentally. but i’m writing this review becau

I won't pretend I like all pokemon gens equally but the concept of gen 1ers always confused me. Like bro. You're really gonna stick with gen 1 pokemon exclusively? They don't even have Scizor yet

the x files is funny because at the time it was “progressive” or whatever to have the ultra-rational, levelheaded character be a woman

but it’s also a show where all the fucked up alien shit actually is real, so she’s just constantly wrong about everything

What’s funny is how often they’re both wrong. Mulder will be like “the victims all had their livers scooped clean out this is obviously the aliens escalating from cattle mutilation” and Scully will be like “don’t be silly Mulder this is clearly just a serial killer who’s really good with surgical tools” and then it turns out the actual killer is an immortal sewer man who comes out ever quarterly century to feast on human liver.

I cannot stress enough that this is literally the plot of an actual episode
