i think it’s crazy that job shadowing or like a trial run isn’t more of a standard part of the interview process and we’re just supposed to like…. Read a bullshit job description and hear a recruiter say “this place is great” and sign up to spend our entire lives there just based on that. it just feels like with the amount of time we have to dedicate to working it would at least get to be a more thorough vetting process but we’re all so desperate for money there’s just no space for being particular and we sign up BLIND to be somewhere every single day …..
