Yup, one and the same. He’s one of my all-time favorites, up there with Ralph Bakshi, Herge and Bill Watterson - It’s absolutely damn infuriating that anyone has to go through this, not even mentioning the fact that the dude’s a pretty big deal. He’s not only what I’d call one of the most significant cartoonists of the early ‘90s for his contributions to Sonic the Hedgehog’s art direction as well as his comics, but also essentially one of the granddaddies of Youtube Poop and all the web culture that implies.

Things people should stop ignoring about Rhodey

1. He is a fullbird Colonel. He got promoted at the end of Iron Man 3, so, yes, he’s the highest ranking military member on the Avengers roster.

2. HE IS AN AVENGER. Everytime I see posts that go “The Avengers and Rhodey…” my blood pressure rises because he became an official member in Age of Ultron.

3. He went to MIT and has been a fighter pilot almost all of his career. Most people would’ve killed to be in his position at the start of Iron Man — something he is reminded of by his commanding officer. He was already damn successful on his own before Tony became Iron Man. He is also really, really smart because, again, MIT.

4. The War Machine armour has not been static since Iron Man 2. Stop using this incorrect information as the butt of your jokes. His Infinity War suit was the fourth iteration of the War Machine armour — it’s bulkier and has as much, if not more, firepower than Tony’s. He is also getting a major upgrade in Endgame.

5. He is allowed to have a life, and friends, that is independent of Tony. Yes, he’s Tony’s ride or die best friend/husband/brother/soulmate, take you pick, but he is also an individual human being. And human beings have agency. Which means if he is friendly to Team Cap, especially when the world is about to end, or he changes his stance on how the Accords have played out since Civil War — with Ross’ bullshit politicking — it does not make him a bad person. He is not ~betraying Tony. He is a middle-aged man who is really smart and experienced; he can make his own damn decisions.

6. No, he was not wrong for taking the Iron Man mark 2 armour in the second film. He was already caught between a rock and a hard place at the start of the film when Stern had called him in to testify against the Iron Man armour. And he didn’t. He called out Stern’s bullshit in full public view of lawmakers as well as his higher ups and the public (because CSpan was broadcasting the testimony), pointing out how misleading it was to read only selected excerpts about the armour. Besides, he took the armour because Tony was drunk and endangering civilians — he could not very well stop his out of control best friend with his bare hands.

7. Tony agrees because guess what? He builds the War Machine 002 for him between Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3.

8. His name is Rhodey. Not Rody, not Rhody, and definitely not Rodney. If you can get everyone else’s names correct, you really shouldn’t have a problem getting his name right.

Tl;dr Rhodey is not a sidekick and Marvel needs to get its act together and give us the damn War Machine film it robbed us of earlier.

ALSO! If you are gonna draw an Asian person with darker skin, don’t make them BLACK! Asian people can have darker skin, but make it REALISTIC!

The skin tones in the original post is really ehhhh, its a bit to dark and greyish  asian and dark skinned people have more VARIETY in their skin than just follow one skin tone. actually im gonna link you guys here (a post full of skin tones) to help you!
