Twitter is the worst place to go. Fans of Hannibal are throwing hate left and right. There’s even a thread of shots that are supposedly ‘copying’ and ‘plagiarizing’ Hannibal scenes. I’m really starting to resent the Hannibal fandom because of this unneeded and undeserved hate that Clarice and her show is getting. It’s really fucking sad that the show is getting bashed so hard because people want Hannibal S4. Ughhhhh. Sorry for the rant.

I wasn’t going to comment on this but I’ve read so many nasty things from people about the premiere of Clarice on CBS tonight that I have to say something.

There are a shit ton of people who are just going around shitting on the show (a show that hasn’t even premiered yet!!) and insulting people that have expressed interest in Clarice, just because it isn’t Hannibal Season 4. Y’all, I can’t believe I have to say this, but this is RUDE AF. I get everyone is mad Hannibal Season 4 didn’t happen, I’m mad too!! But hating someone else’s show because you didn’t get your way with the show you loved isn’t where it’s at. That’s just childish and petty. Not getting another season of your favorite show doesn’t give you an excuse to shit on someone else’s show and insult their fans. Let people watch what they want to watch and don’t destroy someone else’s excitement for something because you aren’t personally excited for it. Let other people live!!

In short, if you’re a fan of Hannibal, please 1) give Clarice a chance! No one’s even seen the damn thing yet!!, and 2) DON’T go around bashing Clarice fans and the show just because you didn’t get Hannibal Season 4. It’s childish, as I’ve said before, and can be incredibly insulting to people who are genuinely excited for the show.

I know tonight’s episode was particularly hard to watch and I’m still reeling from the sheer heartbreak of that ending, but I gotta say one thing real quick: Can we just absolutely GIVE IT UP for Samantha Morton who portrays Alpha?? She is SLAYING this role, and her scenes have been so creepy and enjoyable for me to watch this season, and this episode especially. 👏👏👏

There are rumors saying that Tom Payne wanted to leave the show and I wonder if the reason is the same that made Andy leave (yeah, I don’t think his family was the only reason. I have the feeling that he didn’t like Chandler Riggs’ abrupt departure).
