Hey! Call me J. They/He. Autistic. 30. Here to talk about autism. My blorbos: Webby (Ducktales), Eeyore, and Marcy Wu. Feel free to interact with me :)

I watched the new Indiana Jones movie and enjoyed it. Not as much as the original trilogy but at least as good as crystal skull if not slightly better. It's always been one of my favorite movie series and it was fun to see Harrison Ford in the role one more time. My biggest complaint honestly is how the movie kind of negates the happy ending of the previous movie. Also dial of destiny ends kind of abruptly. 7/10 maybe? Not as bad as people were saying

I think a lot about Shepard's fish tank wipeout in the Citadel DLC.

The entire DLC is this lighthearted love letter to Mass Effect, and it's beautiful. But then there's THIS moment. When Shepard falls through a fish tank.

The entire way down, they desperately try to arrest their fall. They have no shields. No combat armor. There is no one to catch them. It feels like this is one of the few times there is ever fear. And they don't land gently. And the cut scene lingers on it. There is no levity in this moment. Shepard is on the ground, groaning in pain, slow to get up, clutching their ribs. First instinct before they try to get to their feet? Reach for the gun. Have that first. Then see if you can stand.

And I think the only reason we can have this moment, where Shepard is vulnerable, injured, and in trouble, is because there is no one there to see. The moment Brooks gets on the comm, they crack a joke. "Yup. Feeling good." While unable to stand up straight.

We get this at the end of the game, too, but that's when the stakes are at their highest. That's when it's supposed to be hard. It's no less magnificent then, but now, in this moment? When everything was happy and fun and silly? MAN.

And afterward, everyone jokes about it. Every single member of your squad makes a crack about the sushi place. And Shepard plays along. Haha, yeah, fell right through it, while trying to change the subject.

No one knows what that fall was like. No one saw Shepard lying on the ground in the bowls of the Silversun Strip, water dripping off them, struggling to get to their feet.

And no one asks, because it's Shepard.

I see we are all Very Normal about Commander Shepard in the Chilis tonight.

y'know, at first i was a bit disappointed they didn't change gwen's haircut for atsv because i thought that she would look cool with something new since her shaved side would be grown out... but then her hair was used perfectly to express her identity, specifically as a trans person.

throughout the movie, gwen struggles with feeling like she's not being true to herself, and says that it feels like her dad only know HALF of her. meanwhile, gwen's hair looks like this and if you spit a picture of her down the middle then you get one side that looks more like a boy and one that looks more like a girl.

not only that, but when gwen was hiding and isolating herself from her dad, her hair turned blue — meaning her currently pink hair turned blue when she was lying about who she is.

and then when gwen does finally start trying to talk about her feelings and express who she really is inside, this is what happens.

not only does her hair (as well as her bedroom) look reminiscent of the trans pride flag, but she's also mainly turned towards the right in this scene, showing off the longer side of her hair...

anyways, gwen stacy is a tran woman and it couldn't be more obvious.

I'm getting so pissed with people who are saying Gwen isnt trans. Like they're trying to explain why her dad has a trans patch on his jacket and why she has a trans flag in her room, by saying she supports trans people... wtf???? Literally what ally has a TRANS FLAG, IN THEIR ROOM, BECAUSE THEY SUPPORT TRANS PEOPLE??? That's some shit closeted me would tell my parents when they saw me drawing rainbows. People that are saying this shit are literally just transphobic and dont want her to be trans. Gwen is trans and fuck everyone that argues against that.

which one of these is the so called "american flag"

In Gwen’s universe trans people took over America and made the trans flag the national flag.

When a shirt (or other article of clothing) feels just fine most days, but then one time you put it on and just NO NO NO NO NO NO! Everything about it feels wrong. I have to tear it off right this instant

I love how a group of people that nobody voted for, with no term limits so the only way to get rid of them is retirement or death, and no way to get rid of them when some end up extremely corrupt (as we've seen with the president impeachment doesn't work when the people on the jury is your own party), are able to make huge decisions for the country that can fuck over countless numbers of people. Isn't the supreme court great? /sarcasm
