Here to hyperfocus on underused characters

New character sketch. Meet Dr. Nole Breibog.

He is a scientist in the Valkoran Order and a disgraced prodigy of Machinus. After a series of accidents (from his own inventions), his only organic component is his head. He's not a villain that's meant to be taken seriously.

His concept is based on an older concept for Machinus, who would later be reimagined as a droid that used to be an organic being. Him being a card-carrying mad scientist is basically a throwback to my earliest drafts of the Valkoran Empire.

are you ever pacing at a crosswalk waiting for the light to change and suddenly feel like Darth Maul waiting for a ray shield to deactivate?

the "came back wrong" trope except like... they didnt. like this mad scientists wife died, and so he studied necromancy, brought her back, and she came back and it all worked. like she came back exactly the same as she was before with literally no difference. but the scientist guy is like "oh no... what have i done.... shes Different now!!!! she came back Wrong!!!!" and shes just like. chilling. reading a book. cooking dinner. shes just so so normal but in the guys mind hes like "oh shes soooo weird" but shes just normal

While she was dead he put his memory of her on such a high pedestal that she could never live up to it alive

alternatively‚ she came back perfectly fine but he thinks she came back wrong‚ because the tragic reality is that he never actually knew his wife

im going INSANE thats MY POST.

It's your post but the journey to posting it changed it to such a degree that even its closest intimacies are now foreign to you. Sorry dude.

Looks like the necromancy was used on the Death of the Author.

Few weeks ago I ran into this thing at the movie theater. And I wondered what it was. There was no name, there was no plaque, there was no identifier around it. Just a strange skeleton in the middle of a shared foyer of a movie theater, sports venue, bowling hall and gym. What was this strange skeleton that had nothing that said what it was, that was so proudly on display for no apparent reason? What is the meaning behind a giant rodent-like creature to eat it’s own tail? Or was it just a very expensive promotion of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them?

Then the answer came on my tumblr dashboard in a form of a freezeframe on a video as I was scrolling down.

It’s a prop from Lazytown.

My dad used to drive us around all the steel mills and refineries outside of Gary and Chicago when we were little. I have loved them ever since. I feel the same bliss as when I look at a beautiful castle.

Painting I made inspired by the refineries
