I cannot stress this enough: queer people don’t care if kids aren’t queer. What we do care about is queer children becoming queer adults and not dying before they get there. It really is that simple. Any additional context you’ve added to justify your bigotry is your own fiction.
Here's some queer history in honor of the approaching Pride month.

The organization shut down in 1968 due to pressures from both straight and queer parties (there's always been those gays more concerned with being seen as normal than actual progress) but they permanently changed the face of the queer rights movement and their spirit lived in to today.

this pride month take a moment to remember that bisexual and pansexual people are not enemies. the overlap between the two communities is massive and people choose terms based on their own personal comfort and description of how they identify and experience attraction. bisexual and pansexual people and any other mspec people are brothers in arms, friends, and lovers

The reason Steph had such a short run as Robin is because Bruce thinks she is absolutely hysterical, their oddball senses of humor overlapping quite a bit. When he was directly partnered with her; Bruce found her jokes and remarks hilarious to the point that a) not only was it distracting but b) it’s hard to have police and villains take you seriously when you’re holding back snickers from a joke told by a teenage girl.
