I have seen more and more readers on Ao3 mentioning that they don’t read non finished fics.

And I am not here to tell you to read fics that aren’t completed yet, because it’s not my job.

But please, if you subscribe to this policy, be aware that this absolutely contributes to fics never being finished.

Because writing a fic, especially a multi-chaptered-one, takes a lot of time and effort and writers need positive feedback to make it worth it. So if they aren’t getting it, the chance of them dropping the project altogether is significantly higher.

So true I've given up on fics where theres no activity because if no one likes it I lose motivation but if I even just have a gew hits I feel like it's worth continuing

I really wish that "asexuals don't have to want sex but lot of them will still have it with their partner!" wasn't centered in like every asexuality acceptance post. I think it's genuinely damaging to asexuals and their relationships. A lot of us don't want sex. A lot of us are sex repulsed. A lot of us don't even wanna talk or hear about sex. A lot of us don't enjoy porn or wanna "hand out drinks at the orgy". Some of us have sexual-related trauma. Some of us are sex repulsed, not 💖✨sex repulsed but actually really cool about it✨💖

Allos are out here getting into relationships with aces and then pull a pikachu-surprise-face when their partner doesn't wanna have sex with them bc everyone constantly emphasises says how we totally will do it for them. Some of us won't. That's okay. That doesn't constantly need to be followed up with "but a lot of aces will so don't worry!!!!!" We don't have to make every post about us in a way that makes allos comfortable. It's not necessary to reassure allos at every turn that we're not all that asexual and they don't have to worry about us being different in a way they might notice. Allos need to accept and internalise that some people aren't gonna want to have sex. No terms and conditions. No "unless" "but" or "except". Just none.

Art advent day 11

Nightmare - Natewantstobattle

Oh My Gosh an advent without and MHA character 0o I can do that? LOL  Anyway I liked the dark feeling of this song.  These two are original characters, The woman is actually one of the first beasts on the planet, who killed one of the two creators of the world while out hunting for food.  In an grief driven rage the other creator cursed the beast to live a miserable life and then die, over and over again, never remembered or loved by anyone. However as time passes occasionally people would remember her, one notable person being the man, whom she’d saved when he was a young boy.  Shortly after saving his life she was killed and he grew up determined to live by the code she had taught him.  during that time he was made into a vampire and almost a century later was shocked to meet her again.  But to late as she’d been framed for a crime and was to be executed.  the night before she was to die he went to speak with her and she told him her story.  he tried to prevent her death but failed so he made it his mission to find her and give her the best life possible while finding a way to end her curse.

Art advent day 10

I'm Not Him - Lovers & Liars

Day 10 and we have more Nyomi.  this song was really fitting for her story so this is sometime after she escapes her bad situation.  what happened was she was hired into a hero agency right out of high school, after being scouted, but when she’d been approached she was also was approached by a detective investigating the agency as a possible front for human trafficking oif animal type quirks.  She agreed to go undercover and help but soon after the detective in charge was killed on a different assignment, and during the department reshuffle the case was lost.  Nyomi attempted to gather evidence of the trafficking but was caught by the boss who used his quirk to brain wash her and use her as a cover.  so for three years she was brainwashed into being a flighty simple minded hero beginner until on patrol she met Eraserhead, a man she deeply admired.  the shock and awe was enough to snap her out of it and say enough to make him suspicious about her Agency,  leading an investigation into it and finally helping uncover everything.  Unfortunately now she suffers occasional anxiety attacks about whether everything happening to her now is real or not,  she’s terrified she’ll start to see clues that she’s being Mind controlled again, So the scene here is Aizawa gently reassuring her that yes it’s real no she’s not under control and using safety words they have established to help put her at ease and assure her it’s real.
