Do you think you could you draw Haylie? I’m just curious about how you picture her in your head (since I’m assuming that your FC is the closest you could find, but might not be exactly how you envision her), plus I just wanna see your art skills lol
I’ve been sitting on this for so long because I was nervous about it and then finals season came around, I dropped Haylie from this group…her asks got lost in the heat of the moment.
So, the thing is, I suck at drawing. I love writing but visual art has never been one of my talents or my biggest hobbies, though I did give it a shot in middle school. I can be picky with faceclaims but that’s as far as it goes.
So, I know this is a bit disappointing but I can’t really draw her and then post it here. However, I will say that some of the key parts of her aesthetic are her hair streaks, her gothic/VK look and the piercing dark eyes. And of course, her hair catches fire when she’s angry.
A long time ago, the awesome Kasley from @kaityper and @disneydescendants-headcanons created an amazing drawing of Haylie and she kindly allowed me to post it here. It captures my vision of Haylie and I highly recommend checking her out.

Haylie smiled slightly, glad that she’s managed to stay in Dizzy’s memory. Life on the Isle for the demigoddess got a lot more lonely after the girl left, before she met Cora.
“That’s, uh, cool. Yeah, I can imagine them being nice to a kid, just stay away from the brats, ok? I’m wicked, I managed to find homes for a lot of the .underdogs that I brought here. If you wanna see them, let me know. They’re super cute. Oh, well, we can change that. By the way, how do you get along with your long lost family? I mean, Chad was never keen on the VK’s but he’s your cousin right?”

Word got around that Claudine wanted to meet the kids of the Greek gods and Haylie couldn’t miss the opportunity for a bit of fun. She’d stayed away from the Frollos back on the Isle but now seemed like the right time to put it behind.
So the judge’s daughter was the first person that the demigoddess went to vent to after she had yet another argument with a student. Her hair had caught fire by the time she reached the girl and she didn’t mind it,
“I got told to go back to hell for the 100th time in a row.”, the girl signed, rolling her eyes. “When will people understand that my father’s underworld and your father’s hell aren’t the same thing.?!”

Haylie smirked, her mind filled with ideas for the potential permission to put them into practice. Then she moved her attention to her friend’s story.
“I..you know, I support you in this and Quilla clearly knows more than I do about public relations.But I’m worried about what will happen to you after. These people are never satisfied, what if they blame you for everything and call you a liar afterwards? And then you’ll found out that you’ve been changing yourself to please them and..”, the demigoddess trailed off while her hair had caught fire She wasn’t angry at Cora by any means, she was angry at the people who brought her here. And worried that it wasn’t going to work out.
“I’m glad you’re getting treatment though, it might help you at the end of the day. I’m starting to consider it myself, to be honest. But yeah, I get it. You’re losing control over your own secrets and it’s..frustrating. Though there’s never a right time to reveal something like this.Are you sure this is not a trap? Did you talk to other royals?

Yeah, she didn’t understand what was going on but if anything, asking Tayen for explanations might give her an excuse to see her again.
