Stop planting your flowers in other people’s gardens if you know they aren’t going to water them.
So what if you’re alone right now. Embrace it. Go get coffee alone. Shop alone. Drive alone. Watch movies alone. Get to know yourself. Nothing bad can come from riding whatever wave to self improvement you’re blessed with in the moment.
Reminder that it’s also very important to do this even when you’re involved with someone. Getting to know ourselves, spending time alone, doing simple and sweet things alone, are not reserved only for times when we’re not involved with anyone. Self improvement can come in waves, absolutely, and you’ll catch more waves if you make it your lifestyle.
