Um. SO much to tell you. I’m a massive fan of this brilliant artist and after getting to know her I can confirm: she is THE ONE to watch. So delighted to say that Karma Featuring the incredible Ice Spice will be out TOMORROW night at MIDNIGHT ET as a part of the new Midnights (Til Dawn Edition) deluxe album that you can pre-order now at taylor.lnk.to/thetildawnedition!

In addition to Karma Ft Ice Spice… You asked for it, we listened: Lana and I went back into the studio specifically to record more Lana on Snow on the Beach. Love u Lana 🥰😆☺️

But wait there’s more… for those of you going to the East Rutherford shows - we will have a new special edition CD available ONLY on site starting at 12:30pm ET on Friday! This CD will have a never before heard Midnights vault track called “You’re Losing Me”!

I remember when I first watched the pain arc I didn’t love how it got resolved bc it felt kinda odd that someone who had been killing and destroying for as long as Pain could change their mind after meeting Naruto, but now that I’ve rewatched it I actually love how this played out. The call back to the words Nagato said as a kid, Jiraiya making them eternal by including them in his first novel and Naruto appearing before Nagato as the child of prophecy all come together nicely.

“More important is the power to believe that it will happen” being the line that brings Nagato back to himself is beautiful ❤️

Sasuke and Naruto finding out about the hidden leaf’s bloodied past at around the same time but ultimately deciding very different ways to deal with it was actually SO well done imo

Naruto helping remind others how to hope and believe in a better future again whereas Sasuke wants to confront the past and chooses to exact his own justice if the world won’t or can’t provide it

This is also why Naruto and Sasuke are both correct in some ways and learn to come back together again. Naruto teaches Sasuke to hope and trust in others and Sasuke also shows Naruto that you have to make right on past wrongs (I.e. break that cycle of hatred between friends and the world to a larger extent)

In shippuden 142 after Sasuke learns the truth he vows to kill the elders, and explicitly says the other villagers are of no concern to him which I am 100% on board with (aside from tsunade but it’s not like Sasuke knew her anyways really)

Maybe I’m misremembering but I thought Sasuke’s goal was to destroy the leaf altogether but I guess that happens after the five kage summit when he fully loses his mind? Or was he only ever talking about destroying the elders the whole time?

Omg Sasuke was lyinggg in front of his team, he DID intend to kill the entire village but just has special hatred for the elders
