Here are some half foot drawings for your enjoyment.
Affirming boys' right to be silly and women's right to blow shit up
didn't even give us the best frame smh
He for real was gonna fuck up that beast uh
It is kind of a noticeable trait that Luffy almost never is show having inner dialogue (like, having thought bubbles in the manga) which is a big part of what make analysing him kind of difficult because we don't get many views of his thoughts. So it is entirely possible Luffy just don't really know how to NOT say things out loud.
He literally have no thoughts!
The pipeline between whatever possesses him and his mouth is real. Just unfiltered chaos
Noted that the sea stone cuffs and collar bombs in the wano prison are made so they are diluted enough that fruit users will be weakened by them by still can do hard labor. (At least I think I remember that was the case).
I thinks its true for the cuff but not so sure about the collars. I remembered it like that too but then Luffy could use his powers in the sumo ring and someone said the collars were just metal with explosives
Im sure someone can confirm or deny that
Highly recommend you watch Hunter X Hunter, the X is silent. I just know you would love the main cast and put them under a microscope. Honestly, there's a lot of characters you would go crazy over in HxH, it is rich with characterization for pretty much everyone.
Already watched it!
It was the second anime i ever watched bc a friend strongly recommended it. I overall liked it but it lost me in the last arc
(i did love the main cast and i did put them under a microscope lol)
The concept of being an anime only confuses me greatly. Like, I understand it when the anime is already finished so you can see the story animated from start to end, I did that with fullmental alchemist. But if the story is not finished, and you catched up with what the anime covers, and there is more story in the manga, why not read it so you can get more story now rather that wait the years in take to adapt those parts?? It doesn't really make sense to me.
For a number of reasons but mostly bc of how my brain is wired
Years of school and academia had made me a fast reader, even when i read fiction i read novels, so i struggle greatly reading comics/manga. I take in the text way faster than the images, even when i want to take the pannels in my eyes have already read the next pannels, so i struggle and enjoy it less.
Then when its an adaptation, if i know the source material, i cannot help but to make the comparison. Not saying i judge it based on the source material, but while i watch all i can think is how it was adapted. So again, i enjoy it less. I preffer to watch the adaptation and then check out the source.
Finally, i could watch and read the whole thing now, or i could keep interacting with that show for years to come. In the time between seasons i could read the manga chapters that have already been adapted or just check out other stuff. My interest will not die down, if i have to wait two years, then in two years im going to have a nice surprise when i get the change to go back to that thing i loved.
The height of Dungeon Meshi’s world building is Chilchuck using golly as a swear word
The profanities that come out of that man's mouth
About Halfling last names: They are the first part of the father's name with an S or Z at the end. So Chil dad's name probably started with "Tim".
Im fascinated by this race and the place they take in the world, the more i found out about them the more i want to learn
Pretty good identifying with the Dunmesh gang, but all the Laios' were a miss. Big one is Marcille's (how dare he not look like Falin?), Soft face is Senshi's (no beard=baby man) and the weird one is Chil's.
Also baby-Chil is from Senshi
The Chilchucks i overthought about and messed up but the Laioses...
I was so fucking sure with the Laioses bc Chilchuck complains about Laios' lack social skill = the naive looking one, Marcille is the one that has the bigger issue with the eating monsters thing = the dummy monster hungry one, and Senshi has battle monsters with Laios ans they are akin in a lot of things so i thought he would give him more dwarf-like features seeing him as equal
In short this episode was like a crash course into each charecter lmao
I wonder if Marcille buys into the stereotype that all halflings are cute, thus why Chillchuck's doppelganger looks like that.
Turns out the really cute one was Senshi (he baby faced him)
But i think she def buys into that. She did say their Chilchuck was not the grumpy one bc theirs was cute lmao
Here are Laios dogs names.
He does know how to name dogs
That is Boff is i've ever seen one
Here are all of the reasoning for the different doppelgangers.
We actually have canonical answers for which copy is whose:
The Laioses were a surprise to me, i was so sure lamo, but im Kicking myself bc me first instinct with the Chilchucks was right but i overthought it ansd talked myself out of it
Still it was real fun
Its almost sad how clear Laios doubles are and how essy it is to tell who they come from
Marcille got some pretty good doubles, its interesting how the two better copies, the main difference was on her personality
Senshis doubles are good, almost all very true to the real one
So many Chilchuck!! Three really good copies and one a little off. He's getting attention all the time, people staring at him
Honeslty im learned so much about the gang this ep and still learning damn
She has little gremling energy, idk can be wrong
