That’s a pretty broad question but I’ll try to give some pointers! 

I tend to make heavy use of clipping masks when first establishing a painting to avoid it turning into a confusing mess. I start by “masking out” (coloring in) the subject and then creating clipping masks on top which basically allows you to only color inside the subject and nowhere else. To create a clipping mask, just right click on a layer and choose “create clipping mask”. You can mask out other elements as well, in the golden retriever painting I masked out the lighting on the dog with some large brushstrokes (3rd pic on the process shots below) and then added different hues to it on a clipping mask. 

Beyond that, it’s just a matter of using a decently large brush and making confident brushstrokes. Lower the flow setting instead of opacity if you need a softer brush. And if you need a sharp edge, don’t be afraid to get in there with a hard brush and make it happen.

people stopped reblogging things because it is a lot easier to like things than to reblog them on mobile, and that's what the majority of people use. It's a design flaw not the users fault

idk if most people are aware of this, but if you hold the reblog button down you can literally just swipe to the icon of the blog you want it to reblog to. it‘s quick and easy

that post thats like "dont let the theater kid within 15 ft of the aux" or whatever it says is actually very much shit. like ok shit on kids for their interests & wanting to share their interest with their friends?? what is wrong with you people do you not have an ounce of compassion for other humans in your body? your entire life really just consists of you turning being mean to people into a personality. why do people hate kids for having interests. ill never get over these posts

like people will make countless posts about respecting neurodivergent people who had "weird" interest or talk a lot about their interests and then turn around and say "i hate theater kids theyre annoying"

honestly think about it. how many theater kids are actually neurodivergent bc theater/stage crew is one of the few crowds where you can be unapologetically weird?? how many of them are ADHD, autistic, or mentally ill?? whether they know it at the time or not?? y'all will shout from the rooftops to support and not judge neurodivergent people for their interests until you disagree with One aspect of their personality bc it's """cringy"""
