oh you're in a horror film/book and your phone died/has no bars? how boring. I think phones in horror SHOULD work. they should ding only to have the protagonist check and find nothing. they should get calls from somebody you don't know but is still somehow in your contacts. google maps should lead you to one place, no matter what address you type in.

phones are such a big part of our daily lives, removing them from horror removes the horror from our experience. what if the horror felt like it could happen to you, right here, right now? what if it felt like it was already happening?

You get a message from a number you don't recognise. It's a picture of you from behind. You turn and see there's nobody there. When you look back at your phone, you see the sender has sent another text - "Sorry, wrong number."

Your phone rings - it's a private number. You answer it, only to feel the sensation of something licking your ear.

You wake up to find a voicemail. You play it back, only to hear an autotuned version of your own voice reciting a Bible passage - 1 Peter 2: 18-20.

You get an emergency alert. It says "I'm sorry."

Caprikid doesn’t want to fight him cause he knows his identity. In the midst of almost getting his miraculous taken by Talon (akumatized Rooster Bold) he tells him that even though he doesn’t know what caused him to get akumatized and that they all, himself and their friends rather hero or civilian haven’t stopped looking for him. The conversation slight reaches to as Talon is frozen in place by surprise that is until the new hawk moth (Lila) starts to yell and demand him to take his miraculous while throwing insults at him left and right. This causes Talon to stand up off of Capri kid, while stepping a few feet back away from him as he’s held his head in pain. Capri kid watches in worry noticing the butterfly symbol on his face and the other heroes finally shows up. Ladybug ask him about the situation Capri kid could only respond with “I don’t know, he’s either fighting her control or she’s hurting him but one thing for sure I want to help him.” He says as his runs to Talon. restrained him from attacking, reaching for his miraculous or from hurting himself. Capri kid reassures “Rooster bold if you can hear me then know that it’s okay we don’t want fight you, we care and are worried about you. Whatever is troubling you we can do it together.” moving his hands from gripping his wrist tightly to the akumatized hero grunted in pain. “you can resist her power.” Talon turned his head away from him as he spoke “I-I can’t I’m not strong enough.” Capri kid’s face soften and sadden to hearing his partner’s voice shaken which pain and fear, releasing the tight grip to placing a soft gentle touch on Talon’s arm and placed a hand on his cheek. “Oh my poor sunshine, know that you are not alone in this battle, I will fight right beside you and give you courage and support if needed. You are much more stronger than you’d ever imagine I know it, fight her control I know you can do it Rooster bold.”

Talon’s design is the opposite of Rooster bold’s sun rise themed outfit, mixed with some ideas I got from the people on the NathMarc discord.
