my serious and unfiltered thoughts on moon knight's steven/marc ship

first of all , i am a singlet . i do not have DID/OSDD and therefore am not part of a system .

but , from all the info that i've gotten from real people with DID , from real people that are part of systems , i now know and can say that alters do date and form romantic relationships . i dont know a lot about how it works but tbh it doesnt matter . alters and systems say it exists and im going to take their word for it .

now , if you're one of the people saying its weird because its selfcest , listen to systems when they say that it is not . on the flip side if you're someone who exclusively ships them because it is selfcest, first that's just weird cause you're fetishizing and second it's not selfcest you are quite literally invalidating the existence of an alter . selfcest implies the same person is involved with themselves but steven and marc are very much different people merely sharing a body . it's disrespectful to think its selfcest and just think about the impact it has on real systems .

steven/marc is not selfcest . altershipping is okay . just listen to people with DID/OSDD and stop associating them with proshippers for altershipping when they finally found characters and a fandom where they can do so .

also stop fetishizing steven/marc please i beg . alters can have beautiful relationships and to see it reduced to "selfcest" and seeing all these tweets from real systems about how upsetting it is is just sad .

🌙 Moon Knight Characters vs. Comics

— Oscar Isaac | Moon Knight / Mr. Knight / Marc Spector / Steven Grant

— F. Murray Abraham / Khonshu

— Shaun Scott / Bertrand Crawley

I like to think the reason why Boba didn't immediately approached Din was because he was overwhelmed.

Like, he sees this dude, some random stranger in pure beskar carrying not only his child, but Bobas armor through the fucking dune of tatooine and his brain short-circuited

He doesn't think anyone else treated his armor with that much respect ever.

How this stranger was ready to throw hands to protect the armour of a stranger, without knowing if it's owner is even alive, and then he recognized his right to it, willing handing it back.

Trusting him to save his child.

And then, then he learns that this man flew into a fucking Krayt dragon and blew him up from the inside.

For his armour.

Turning your back on Boba Fett is dangerous, but Din does it with ease because he is oh so kind and trusting.

He deemed him as ally, as friend.

And it takes his breath away.

He doesn't really care about Mandalore but he cares about Din and he thinks there was never someone more fit to be a ruler.

He rules with Fennec by his side. He has no need do bow to someone. People should bow to them.

Except Din. He was special.

Someone he wants by his side, someone he wants to support and watch him succeed.

Someone, he wishes to serve. To show him his devotion, to offer his heart and soul

Fennec teases him but he can't bring himself to care.

Not with someone so exceptional as Din Djarin by his side.
