• It’s no secret that Lysandra and Aelin lives for chocolate cake 
• So one time when Elide and Lorcan are visiting both Lorcan and Rowan tries it out after dinner when the girls are distracted.
• And oh my god do they love it.
• They don’t tell anyone of course because of carbs and all.
• And they’re males so they don’t eat for pleasure, they eat for surviving, muscles and body and blah blah blah.
• So naturally, to don’t ruin their image, they don’t eat the cake when the desert is served.
• They eat when no one sees, which is mostly at nights after their mates are asleep.
• Once Fenrys with his fae hearing hears that something is going on downstairs.
• He went to check out what it was all about, only to find Lorcan and Rowan halfway done with tomorrows chocolate cake.
• Both males looked at him in shook
• But, Fenrys only said, “Invite me the next time.”
• Three days later Aedion joined the club of night dessert.
• Eventually, both Aelin and Lysandra noticed that there was less and less cake.
• Elide was the first one to wake up at night and find the bed empty, so she went to Aelin, who went to Lysandra.
• Three women went to the kitchen to find Aedion, Rowan, Lorcan, and Fenrys quietly chuckling; chocolate smudged on their faces.
• They all flushed, Elide thought that it was hilarious, but Aelin was pissy about her cake at first.
• Lorcan and Rowan almost choked.
• Eventually, girls stopped mocking them.
• Now they didn’t need to hide it, and they all would eat dessert together at the dinner table.
• But the males missed their night chats, that became a habit. So they would sometimes gather in the kitchen in the middle of the night just to talk.
