I'm sorry but in this scenario you go straight to graverobbing, not murder. You dress a dead body in you clothes and official signet and burn your quarters down.
That way you get an interlude with a pair of comic grave diggers and a fun little montage of dressing a cadaver in you clothes before it all inevitably goes arse over tit.
