the inn wasn't much of an inn; chilly and austere with basic furniture. the soup was cold, the blinds were thin and slightly crooked, and they only had one spoon, but a room was a room and a roof was a roof. it didn't really matter how simple things were as long as they were together... even still, the absurdity of the situation did get to them a little. they couldn't even take their game seriously!
