I have this headcanon that the Moriarty brothers (especially Albert and William) tell each other everything. (Except emotions because offcourse they don't, that would be good for their mental health) Albert loves gossip and they all know how to keep secrets so as soon as Albert and Mycroft start maybe casually seeing each other his little brothers get to hear all about it, and after A study in S William won't shut up about how cute the detective is. Louis hates this but he hates being left out even more so he begrudgingly sits through them describing everything in excruciating detail. This is one of the many reasons he hates Sherlock so much.
And because Sherlock and Mycroft haven't been close since they were little, the Moriarty brothers end up knowing more about the both of them than they know about each other.
Imagine Sherlock doing something to piss William off and as punishment he gets to learn everything he never wanted to know about his brother and never being able to look at him the same again.
