why are all the tvs in black and white? i know i wasn't alive in the early 90s, but im positive most people used color tvs.

I LOVE the anachronistic setting of BTAS. The primary influences (I think) were 1940's noir detective films and 1990's sci-fi, which makes for some really interesting/amusing paradoxes. It also makes me wonder how Metropolis is faring from across the bay, watching Gothamites popping about in their zoot suits and hauling around tommy guns like characters in a black and white gangster film. Iconic.

batman in his solo comics: a little bit of an asshole, but overall a sympathetic character who cares deeply about those around him
batman in team comics: the worst person you could ever meet. just the absolute fucking worst. who keeps inviting this guy?
