I turned the brightness on to see if it was actually Nace's hair as some users said in their analysis (they were all amazing thank u sm)

Actually to me it still does look like that, or at least, the gap in the middle would suggest so.

Either it's Nace's hair or Jan is against a mirror/reflective surface and his arm is pulling his hair to the front hence why we don't see his face.

I genuinely have no idea anymore? The hair looks weird, but also when I zoom in, I don't see anything underneath Jan's arm? And the white part that I assumed was a neck actually looks more like a wall with the brightness turned up?

Idk, fr 😂 I loved the pictures but it's so confusing

My two cents on this:

This corner of the image is clearly edited, since we can find repetitive hair patterns and even the edge of the layer added.

This part also feels very edited in judging by how the hair strands go. Hair just doesn't stop like that.

Conclusion: would you believe it,

*sad violin*

Jk, jk, but thank you for that, that makes sense

Okay, okay, fine I am doing analysis of Damon Baker's photoshoots 😂

That said, since a lot of people already analyzed Kris' and since Bojan's has less picture, I am gonna start with his. Also obviously, this is totally subjective, I am not claiming this is one true or absolutely correct analysis, just my thoughts on it.

Under the cut bc this will deff get long

I'm glad I have destroyed everyone with that addition from Twitter (because it destroyed me too)

I have two things to add

  1. About the picture when he has the sweater on: To me his eyes have some kind of sweetness, of tenderness in them, maybe he feels comfortable thanks to the safety and the warmth provided by that specific sweater (that might even represent a warm hug that a person usually looks for when in need of support)

2. About the pictures with fire: You can clearly see that he looks confident, maybe even defiant, in the first one on the left, he looks directly at the camera, but fire, as you said, is dangerous, and as the fire on the match gets closer to his face, to his mouth, the most important part of his all body (don't forget, he's a singer, without a voice and a functioning mouth, he looses his "purpose" in the band (cue to padam "če mi nič ne uspe, če izgubil bom vse, kar sem si želel"-"If I don't succeed at anything, if I lose everything I ever wanted")), his eyes go down to check the fire, what it is doing and where it goes. On the third picture, he raised his head as to take distance from the fire, he's uncomfortable because the fire got closer, it's incredibly hot. And he also changed how he was holding the match, he's almost trying to let it go maybe because he's scared he will get burnt from it.

Ohhhh my god. Reblogging for this additions because I agree and I absolutely love it

I have another addition for you that I noticed

both of the more real and vulnerable pictures, the ones i feel show more realistically who bojan is instead of who he shows the world and who he wants the world to believe he is, are burned away at the edges

the second one in particular shows that there is something else underneath this layer still- slowly being revealed as the comfortable and vulnerable bojan is burned away. it makes it feel like, to me, this too is still just a mask that he presents to the world, and that the real him is there somewhere beneath the surface

and this combined with the fear of the match burning him, pulling away from the fire, tells me he is afraid to show that part of him just yet. but eventually that mask too will be burned away and maybe then he will finally be able to show the real bojan to the world

Oh WOW! I didn't notice that detail at all, thank you for that addition!

Hi, hi, Hi!!! A lil add-on to this!!

This image reminded me of the one where James Dean was on the set of Giant. The arms are crossed in both of them. Bojan has his head turned slightly to the left and tilted down, he's looking at "us"; the observer however, his eyes are shielded by his hair and the shadows. In James Dean's photo, he's wearing a hat, shielding his eyes from us and leaving them in the shadows as well. Both of them look mysterious and almost unapproachable.

The motif of smoking is an interesting one and definitely a trademark of old Hollywood photoshoots, but this frame of Bojan definitely reminded me of James Dean's photo from Rebel Without a Cause. The perspective, the looking up, the cigarette. Just like Rio said, Bojan looks tortured. He's messy, I'd almost say he looks like a lost teenager, letting his inner child and the feelings of uncertainty you hit when becoming a teen come out; he looks like he doesn't know what to do anymore, helpless; just like James Dean's character is in the movie.

The overall combination of these pictures also parallels the life of James Dean; while he was alive he was seen as tough, mysterious, and unapproachable. He gained fame playing "the bad boy" archetype, along with Marlon Brando and Paul Newman, so people viewed him as such, especially because of how closed off he was. However, there is an interview with Elizabeth Taylor where she says that one night, James came over to her house and they talked about his worries and issues, she said that he actually had such a tortured soul, but the next day on set, he didn't even look at her; he opened and revealed too much of himself to her.

I showed the pictures of our boys to my mum and she immediately said that Bojan's pictures reminded her of James Dean, especially the one where he's smoking and looking up and the one where he's leaning against the wall and he's in his underwear 😯

I can't for a second believe the James Dean parallels are an accident, those movies are iconic. And it's making me think so many things about Bojan and his image and music--some relevant bits from James Dean wiki:

From a music perspective, thinking of how Joker Out's "shagadelic" style connects back to mid-20th-century rock music, the image of the young and rebellious guy with a guitar:

But also his image as a person, thinking about how he spoke about his need to be a "good boy" in Slovenia and being free to be a "bad boy" in other places:

And then just thinking of the tragedy of James Dean's young and reckless death--he was 24 and Bojan just turned 25. The pictures with the match that make everyone think of burnout, the interviews where he mentions he doesn't party as much anymore since it doesn't make for a stable music career. I'm not sure what my conclusion is here but I'm seeing so many connections!

why didn’t gandalf just carry the ring to mordor himself with these tongs

like i’m picturing him being really careful and looking at it and carrying it exactly like this while walking or riding through the woods and across rivers and up mountains and through valleys and he doesn’t drop it even once except at the very end where he tidily drops it into the volcano. frodo sam and the crew and even gollum wholly undisturbed. sauron can’t find him bc of the meditative aura surrounding him which is generated by his immense focus on not dropping it

World's most tense egg and spoon race

this somehow became the funniest thing on earth in my head and I had to draw it so

Either people need to learn how to tell the difference between an “I’m sorry” that takes direct responsibility and an “I’m sorry” that signifies sympathy, or I’m gonna start responding to unfortunate information with a solemn nod and a “Sympies,” because I am tired of receiving a “Why? It wasn’t your fault” every time I try to vocalize compassion.

we've talked about how jan is hiding one eye in every photo. but has anyone noticed that nace is hiding one eye in all his individual photos too... even when fully facing us, one of his eyes (his left, the opposite to the one jan is hiding) is always in shadow.

sonething about how nace feels fully seen with jan but not on his own, even when he's trying to be vulnerable.

Theories about the Damon/Slovenia situation??

So far I'm thinking:

* Location shots? In their studio or other significant locations in Ljubljana?

* The music video theories not so delulu after all??

* Maybe they want to bring Damon in for some kind of collab at Studio7??

* Promo material for the new single?

let's wildly speculate together while we wait for news 👀

@izpira-se-zlato pointed out that this is probably the context for the IG story on the main account where Kris says they're getting "picked up at 4" so it sounds likely that the boys are there too...

my leading bet right now is promo material for the new single, possibly in collab with Studio7, since apparently it's quite emotional and personal and that's Damon's speciality

It's kind of tragic how homophobia affects insecure men.

Like sometimes they want to experiment with a bit of anal and instead of just buying a sex toy and some lube like a normal person, they instead shove random objects up their ass that inevitably get stuck and then they try to get them out by themselves which makes things worse and then they lie to doctors about it and like this all leads to all kinds of extra complications like internal damage, risk of infections, bleeding, the fall of Yugoslavia, etc.

Come on guys, just buy a dildo. It's way safer and it leads to way fewer problems.

Ok I’m gonna need joker out fans to learn the difference between fanservice and queerbaiting

Real actual people can’t queerbait by kissing their friends, they aren’t fictional characters being used as a marketing ploy

I’m begging y’all to actually learn the definition of the buzzwords you’re throwing around
