hate ur dreams. im not sending u any. i draw too so thats nice

i’ve been thinking about this video nonstop since the first time i saw it

the jaunty walk perfectly in time with the music. the tip of the hat the unaware or uncaring bystanders. the shaky camera with random zooming. the fact that this is seemingly happening in a park. this is peak media i can’t get over it

I am watching adventure time, currently up to the middle of season 2.

it is mainly as an exercise in cultural literacy. I started drawing some concept for Bublin and Finn going on a journey after some exposure to the subject in various threads on /co/. At the time I didn't have real sense of the lore, just general sentiment regarding to the disposition of Finn at the end of the series, and the there are two camps, and on a basic level I suppose I really fall under the side that felt dissatisfied with where he ended up.

although i haven't really watch the series, I still feel like doing something with this character.

I actually started to watch it a few months back, but so far its been a slog, because I kept feeling my age when I watch it, and I couldn't identify with the finn at this stage, he just feel like a little shit head to me. I was more interested in exploring the character of a spurned and solemn Finn who seems to have suffered, although I am not sure if I'll make it that far lol.
