An unusual antique Victorian-era patterned wedding band with a geometric design. Flat patterned rings of this style were popular at the end of the 19th century and referred to as cigar bands, because of their resemblance to the foil labels wrapped around cigars. This is an unusually fine example.

An intricate filigreed collar necklace in 18K yellow gold made by the Swiss jeweler Gay Frères. The company was best known for producing high end watch bracelets for Rolex, but throughout the 19th and 20th century, they also produced exceptionally well-made and inventive jewelry pieces. This collar wears beautifully and moves as fluidly as silk. The design is reminiscent of French necklaces from the 1890s, but the detailing is distinctly Art Deco. Weighs 60.1 grams.

Obviously Dor-lómin is home to my favorite humans but I also find it’s location, environment, geography and world building for it to be so so compelling

This probably will not be the last board I make for it

The houses in the bottom middle aren’t exactly what I imagine though the stone one is closer. The shape and angles of the wooden windowed ones are a bit different than what I imagine but the image worked well enough!
