Thanks for proving my point. Literally none of you people have posted anything actually proving any of the bullshit you’re spewing, or even anything reasonable or logical. Every single thing all of you have posted is “PORN WATCHERS ARE STUPID LOLOLOLOL WE’RE SMART”.  You’re basically a cult. A giant misogynistic cult. And yes I’m going to keep calling you misogynists until it gets through your thick skull that what you’re doing is INCREDIBLY MISOGYNISTIC. You’re dismissing the opinions of women and calling them brainwashed and basically claiming women can’t have opinions on their own. That’s ACTUAL misogyny. 

See, here’s the thing though. Pornography is misogynist, defending pornography is misogynist. Calling the people who are making statements against an industry that’s literally based on sexual violence and exploitation “misogynists” is a slight projection on your part.

See, you haven’t proven any of that though. Nothing on your page. Nothing in anything you write demonstrates why porn is misogynistic. It equally objectifies men, puts women in dominating roles quite often, and the industry itself (where it is well regulated) is very protective of female workers integrity and health. That isn’t misogyny, that’s making a market off of a very large part of ALL human interests. Men AND women watch and appreciate porn. You’re basing your “misogyny” claim of a very VERY small segment of pornography.  And in the mean time, I have witnessed you 1) dismiss the opinions of women 2) claim women who disagree with you are brainwashed 3) shame women who participate in sex industries or at best, tell someone they’re an anomaly for enjoying working in the industry and 4) halt the actual protection of women who you claim are oppressed in favor of behaving like a child, refusing to offer actual arguments, and insulting all those who disagree with you without offering anything substantial in return, effectively painting your entire movement in a bad light.  If you aren’t a misogynist, then you’re a raving idiot, but frankly, I think it’s the former, because I’ve met anti-porn people in real life, and these people disrespect the agency of women everywhere on the regular. You do not believe women should have agency. You do not believe that women should be able to make their own choices regarding their sexuality. You judge all women who work in an industry just because YOU disagree with it. You’re a misogynist - this is what misogynists do. Porn, in general, is not inherently misogynistic. Some versions possible, but porn is such a large industry it would be like calling all books misogynistic. What you’re doing is. That’s the definition of misogyny. The disregard of a woman’s ability to make conscious choices, or the belittling of a woman’s intelligence or abilities. That is what you are doing.  You are a misogynist. You can either accept this and go along your merry way behaving like a toddler to anyone who tries to counter you because you’re just an asshole. Or you can realize “Hey, maybe if I actually TALKED to people like a reasonable human being and presented my argument nicely and didn’t fucking INSULT AN ENTIRE FUCKING DEMOGRAPHIC OF PEOPLE ON A REGULAR BASIS and actually MADE A FUCKING POINT then people would take me seriously!” But you’re not going to realize that. Because you know deep down you don’t HAVE a point, that your argument doesn’t have a leg to stand on, so rather than doing the logical thing and concluding that porn isn’t inherently misogynistic, you decide to abandon all reason and just insult people who disagree with what you proclaim as fact with no evidence or even an actual argument.  Stop. Stop insulting women. Stop insulting people in general preferably. Examine your fucking opinion, and why you have it in the first place. Because if your fucking blog is any indicator, YOU don’t even know why you think porn is bad. You just do and that’s all that matters. Fine. Whatever. More power to you. I don’t care. DON’T FUCKING INSULT WOMEN IN THE PROCESS. DON’T INSULT INDUSTRY WORKERS. DON’T INSULT WOMEN WHO WATCH PORN. DON’T INSULT WOMEN WHO DISAGREE WITH YOU. DON’T INSULT ANYONE WHO DISAGREES WITH YOU. These posts are so stupid, I’m going to post them here every time no matter how repetitive it gets.

Here’s the issue - this social justice blogger means well, they really do, and are trying to help. They do, however, lack an understanding of gender identity in the most critical sense. If you want to help the trans community, then please understand the difference between gender (psychological) and sex (biological).

The sex of a person’s body can differ from their gender, and that is being transgender at its core. What this means is that there will be men who are biologically female, and women who are biologically male, and that’s OK. Some of these people may choose to undergo biological transition to varying degrees, changing their biological make-up to fit with their psychological gender.

However, you cannot claim that the primary sexual characteristics of a biological male are anything but biologically male. Yes, there are women who have penises, but that is because the body is still biologically male - the penis, testes, the primary sexual characteristics are what determine sex and should be accepted as such.

The real point here is this - that when one attempts to aid the trans community in an argument, one needs to distinguish between biological sex and psychological gender. If you say that the two are innately entwined and that one will necessarily change the other, then you perpetuate the idea that the body you have defines the person you are. So to all those reading this who do not have this separation clear in their minds, please make sure you draw it, otherwise you harm the push for the acceptance and understanding of the transgender community in wider society.
