Frodo and Gandalf 🧙♂️
Helms deep haldir study
Elrond: Okay, so, Glorfindel can't join the Fellowship because he literally glows in the dark and would alert Sauron to everyone's location. Elves with such awesome power must stay behind. Legolas, you shall go.
Legolas: :)
Legolas: ...
Legolas: Wait >:(
gandalf blindin them for 0 reason
every single elf who sees Gimli and Legolas thinks of them as "the weird elf prince and his dwarf boyfriend" but to the dwarves they are "Gimli The Sex Symbol and his cringefail elf boyfriend"
When Thorin gave Bilbo the Mithril chainmail shirt, he said it was made for an Elven prince.
The only Elven prince that was born in any of the 4 Elven realms since the founding of Erebor is Legolas.
Frodo is wearing Legolas's baby clothes in LOTR.
I honestly feel like nobody in lotr mentions how fucking weird Legolas is. He stays up pacing the floor and singing to himself in the dead of night. He deadass stares straight into the tree line in the absolute pitch black when no one else can see anything. He yells goodbye to a river he has heard about in songs. He's so strange and not one character mentions it AT ALL. I absolutely love him.
I'm a faramir truther, a faramir defender, a faramir apologist. if faramir has a million fans, I am one of them. if faramir has five fans, I am one of them. if faramir has one fan, I am the one fan. if faramir has zero fans, I am dead. I love faramir.
this scene never fails to make me laugh because legolas looks like the human representation of a question mark

Faithful Unto Death, Edward Poynter, 1865
Actual roman epitaph for a dog
Chroma: Ancient Sculpture in Color It is an exhibition that is now taking place at the Metropolitan Museum, in New York, and part of a work already known by professors Prof. Dr. V. Brinkmann, Head of the Department of Antiquity at the Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung, and Dr. U. Koch-Brinkmann, who reminds us that the statues of the ancient Grecco-Roman world were not white, as we are used to seeing nowadays in museums, but vivid and full of colors, and sometimes adornments and clothing (kosmos) , and which had entirely another connotation besides art.
