  • Despite what people might assume, he's actually a very devoted father throughout your childhood
  • While others might find your tentacles grotesque or disturbing, he loves and respects them. After all, he designed every aspect of you to work together perfectly
  • For the first few years of your life, you are just like any other baby being raised by a single father, although your tentacles do complicate diaper changing slightly
  • By the time you are learning to walk, you are also learning how to use your tentacles, and Tsung encourages you to practice grabbing his hand or your favourite toy and putting it down again
  • When you really start getting used to walking about, Tsung is so proud of how quickly and joyfully you run about in his island gardens using your tentacles to hunt for bugs
  • But like any other small child, you're still prone to hurting yourself, especially because your tentacles can be quite cumbersome. Tsung is always there to bandage you up and kiss your booboo better
  • While you won't be allowed access to the outside world just yet, Tsung makes it his mission to ensure you receive the best education he can offer, while still keeping it age appropriate. You'll practice reading and writing, but with plenty of time for drawing, playing games, and learning to count
  • Because of your tentacles, Tsung does give you regular check-ups in his lab, but he spent decades perfecting your design so very little has ever gone wrong
  • When you are old enough to learn how to fight and start meeting people from outside your father's island, you're upset to find that others consider you "a freak of nature". He continues to say that he thought the day may come that you would resent him for how he made you, but it was never his intention to make you ugly, rather that he wanted to make you strong
  • Shang Tsung has been all over the realms, so he didn't fully consider how Earthrealmers may react, but he assures you that in the wider context of all life across the realms, you are far from hideous
  • When you feel better about yourself, Tsung will give you the age-old fatherly advice that it is absolutely okay to tear your bullies apart with your tentacles
