Don't need nothing but a good time

Unpopular opinion: All games should have the option to enable pausing.

And to save almost everywhere.

Yes even in soulslike games.

I am an adult who has a full time job and responsibilities. I get to play maybe an hour a week. I do not want to lose that hour of progress because devs decided 'pause' was not allowed in their game and I had sudden unexpected things come up that meant I had to quit the game without saving/leave it playing and hope enemies wouldn't respawn.

Also it would massively increase accessability. I have fully working non-injured hands and they still need a break after a tough boss fight. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for people with joint pain, arthritis, etc, etc.

I was making coffee and I heard a "mpeep" behind me so I turn around an on my kitchen floor sits Kotelet, the tiny stray that visits me every day, and to her side sits a big fat house spider, you know the one that gets stuck in your bath.

So I go "Hey ehh, you brought a buddy?" and she looks down at the spider and swallows it in one go -legs and everything- and looks back at me with these cute big eyes

Couldn't get the image out of my head

Magic players will have 23 tabs open on their computer, 19 tabs open on their phone, 4 unrelated piles of cardboard on their desk and then complain about how their opponents organize their battlefield

Objection: the average ejaculation contains 80-300 million sperm. Each individual sperm contains half the genome, which is about 800 megabytes compressed.

So your average ejaculation is 32 to 120 terabytes of data.

That would require over 10-38 million PS2 memory cards. At 2002 prices (25$ each), that is a quarter of a million to a billion dollars per ejaculation.

Okay, but that's just an assload of duplicate data. It'd make much more sense, optimisation-wise, to reconstruct the original genome from all the partial data. Wikipedia claims that the human genome can be losslessly compressed down to about 4Mb*, which fits just fine on an 8Mb memory card.

*this number is almost certainly incorrect, but I don't care enough to do more than 5 minutes of research for a Tumblr post

A literal ass-load, if you will

Magic players tell me I need to use more "interaction" and run more "removal" yeah well, what if I "interact" with your mom after we "removed" our clothes
