God is beyond our Feelings - Emotions - Circumstances - People - Pain and even Death. Don’t estimate God’s Love and His Power based on these Earthly things. Don’t judge His Power if something didn’t turn out the way you wanted it to be or if you don’t reach your office in time. Don’t judge His Love, if you lost something or someone. Don’t question Him If you fail in your exam. Praise Him and Thank Him in everything. Trust Him completely and Thank Him for the Life he has given you. All these issues are very small compared to what he has sacrificed for us and what he’s preparing for us. He’ll always be our God no matter what happens.

My history is not my destiny.

I always got affected with how people look at me or what they say about me, up to the point where I listened more of the enemy’s lies than the truth of the One who truly knows me. I was serving the Lord, but there were times I I felt like my joy was stolen. I always compare myself to others, without realizing that we all have our own seasons. Though I always claimed “when I am weak, I am strong through Him,” little did I notice that I was focusing on my weaknesses rather than how I can let God use them for His glory. I always push other people but let myself be dragged down.

Not until I received His Word and promises that my heart and mind were decluttered. Isa ‘to sa mga naging kultura namin tuwing New Year. Instead na tumalon, magpaputok, at sumigaw habang countdown, we will be seeking God and seek His Word and promise for the whole year na iki-claim namin. Pero nung mga nakaraan, hindi natatapos yung taon na hawak ko pa rin yung Word and promise. Hindi ko napanghahawakan. But this year, I’m hoping for the better self. The Lord led me to the Book of Haggai.

The Book of Haggai is centered to the rebuilding of the temple of God. In New Testament, until now, the temple of God represents ourselves – being the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. Last week ng December, while listening to worship songs, nag-flash sa’kin yun Hebrews 12:2 talking about fixing our eyes unto Jesus. And right at that moment, binigyan ako ng Lord ng desire na talagang magkaroon ng bagong perspective sa 2018. To focus on Him and Him alone. And as I say “Him alone,” it means to the things that will bring Him glory, hindi sa kung ano yung tingin kong okay sa paningin ng tao, paningin ko, o standard ng kahit sino. It means to love what He loves, to live how He lived, to go where He wants me to. And the message of this book of Haggai is really related to that Hebrews 12:2. 

Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit.“‘From this day on I will bless you.’” Haggai 2:19

Grabe. Lord, help me to be a good and faithful steward sa lahat ng ipinagkakatiwala Mo sa’kin.

As I searched again for His Word this morning, He led me to Hebrews 12, yes the entire chapter. And it really hit me. These are really for me.

As much as I want to pour everything out here on Tumblr, kaso believe it cannot be contained dito lang. I really don’t want to post it, but I believe God allowed kahit na hindi detailed and kumpleto yung pagkakakwento ko rito. Maybe ikaw rin, nahihirapan kang magpatuloy. Putulin mo muna yung mga dapat putulin at itapon and mga dapat itapon (Hebrews 12:1), tapos magpatuloy ka ulit sa journey mo with the Lord. Hindi ka nag-iisa. At hindi ka Niya pinapanood mula sa trono Nya. He has been with throughout kahit na hindi mo minsan feel. At sa mga susunod pang panahon na darating, He will always be with you.

My history is not my destiny. Yours, as well. He can turn a mess into a message.
