I Run Because I Can

Since Odalia undoubtedly lives separately from Alador and the kids now, my question is: who got the manor.

Did Alador and the kids keep the house while Odalia moved out, or did Odalia keep the house all to herself while Alador and the kids moved elsewhere?

On one hand, the manor is big, so it makes sense for the 4 people to get it instead of the 1 person, but on the other hand, there's also something to the idea of Alador and the kids maybe being fine with moving out of the house where they (particularly Amity and Alador) had been abused for years, and instead living in a new place that doesn't have any baggage attached to it.

(Also tbh the idea of Odalia getting the entire manor to herself is kinda funny to me. "Fine, you can take the kids, but I'm keeping this entire house")

Honestly I could kind of see it in my head that she would be the type to try to keep them to stay with her in order to have the house.

And them just saying ‘ok’ and leaving. So she gets the house but they don’t stay.

One last abuse tactic in other words.

Also Dana has said their basically either on Low Contact or No Contact can’t remember the exact words now with Odalia.

So yeah definitely not living in the same house

I was looking for another piece of information on Cosmos. Related to the weird behavior the last day and the convo I’ve been having with @tiny012

And noticed this line from Cosmos.

Let’s just say for arguments sake she is a direct reincarnation of Usagi. And that by some weird set of circumstances she inherited the Silver Crystal that was originally Usagis even if that seems unlikely

She says herself she is from the far futuee. A dark future. A time I always assumed was well past even Chibi-Usa’s generation.

And while she refers to Usagi as her past self. Just looking at this dialogue. We’re not supposed to view her and Usagi as one and the same.

This is a Sailor Moon, a possible Usagi, who is so far separated from the modern day version herself. That she can’t even seem to contemplate until she sees it again in front of her that she made the right choice

Even if this is a future Usagi. So much has happened that she doesn’t even view her past self as the same person.

We’re supppsed to view them as separate people with a shared past. Not the same person in the same space. Partly because Cosmos herself views herself as a separate person.

Putting another voice behind Cosmos plays into this because if she truly viewed herself as another Usagi. Then she would be speaking differently.

And it does a disservice to the story to give a character the same voice as her past self when she has such a disconnect we can see when she can speak freely

I just pulled out my manga as well to read that.

I was also thinking that if was " Usagi" she was the Usagi that didn't make the same decisions as the decisions the Usagi we all know and love. So that's why she said " my old self". Because what if this "Usagi" experiences was different than the Usagi we know?

Say for instance this Usagi decided to bulid the Moon Kingdom back on the Moon while our Usagi didn't?

Because it really does sound like Cosmos didn't face Chaos head on and go into the Cauldron like our Usagi did.

So with if she feels such disconnect because of the decisions she made compared to the Usagi we know.

But still like the idea of Cosmos being Future Sailor Moon but not being Usagi.

You might be onto her having made a different decision and possibly being an alternate timeline furure Usagi. Rather than a future Usagi from our own timeline. Because this

This really doesn’t match up entirely with what we know. Sure there were times our Usagi was separated but always?

That’s a stretch.

So that implies one of two things.

1. It’s been so long her own memories are twisted of what her life was like in this time. And not even the short time period in the past could change her opinion

Or

2. Something happened with her and her guardians. Maybe she never revived their memories. Who knows. But they weren’t around in the same extent our Usagis team was.

Either way an interesting mystery

Which is why she supposed to be ambiguous.

Her being an AU Usagi does make sense but then her being not Future Usagi at all make sense as well.

Also lets Recall Black Moon Clan arc where it wast established that two people of the same timeline can’t co-exist closely together.

If she’s Usagi of the same timeline then even if she disguised herself as ChibiChibi, she shouldn’t be able to stay near herself so closely without disappearing.

Like Usagi and Neo Queen Serenity.

So she MUST be different in some way to be able to not go Poof when being in the same place at the same time.

Ooh yeah that’s a good point I forgot about. So it’s looking more like an alt timeline of the Usagi we know.

Maybe reminding us of the can’t exist in the same spot thing was why we got this parallel going on.

Some part of me thinks it might be a mix of the two. Far distant Sailor Moon and or Usagi from an alt timeline.

Because between Chibi Usa’s comment and just the way she speaks. Alt timeline or not it’s been a long time since she was Eternal Sailor Moon

I saw that tweet earlier as well. And it’s just this whole response is weird and is showing again the toxicity of the fandom on all sides.

Like hey I thought it would be Kotono too. But considering Cosmos is an incarnation of Usagi but not Usagi herself. Casting another VA actually makes sense since she’s not Usagi.

Not in a proper sense anyway. She’s an incarnation sure but she has her own history that arguably makes her own person separate and just casting Kotono feels weird.

I get Kotonos voicing ChibiChibi but there are arguments that can be made to make that make sense. While having Keiko in the role

Also some people are really shutting the door on interest from the fandom in future adaptions of any kind in animation if there were to ever be any with some of these comments.

And then you have people saying backhand shit like this

Which is so unnecessary.

Also the fact Naoko was in the room when Keiko was doing her lines.

So they exactly what they was doing.

It's make sense because Cosmos was never confirmed to be Usagi but just the future version of Sailor Moon.

We know Kotono is going to give an emotional performance as Usagi.

Why put more work on her?

Oh I missed that first one. I saw some of the drama but illness means I've been seeing it on and off today.

I can't emphasize this enough making a VA apologize for a role she took. Is not a good look on the fandom's side.

Also I don't know what exactly they want. Like the recording and everything is done. The movie is done. Even if they did listen somehow to the backlash they can't recast at this point. Pt 2 is literal weeks away.

And again this whole drama is dumb and they shouldn't recast her anyway since if the fandom would stop and think for five seconds. Casting another seiyuu for Cosmos actually makes sense.

Honestly I like it being Keiko because 1. see above about Cosmos having another seiyuu actually makes sense and 2. it's still a throw back to part of the franchise.

Also I love Kotono but who knows when she'll retire. So this could be easily her last time voicing Usagi. Letting her bring her A game for what could very well might be her final time by helping not spread herself too thin by voicing three roles. Absolutely makes her sense.

Wakes up to the News that Keiko Kitagawa aka PGSM Rei Hino/Sailor Mars is Voicing Sailor Cosmos.

Me: Ok! Let's keep it in the family!! Lets go!!

Goes on Twitter and finds out that shes apologing because some fans are mad at her casting.

Me: This is why we can't have nice things!!

I guess they thought it was going to be Kotono but I like the fact it's someone else. Especially someone who is already in the Sailor Moon family. Yall need to stop.

I'm doing this to paint a picture of the rollout of Cosmos IF Toei do the same thing but who knows with them..

And since both Cosmos movies is coming out in the same month who definitely knows.
