One of the reasons I feel so passionately about giving hope to other young musicians is because of the countless number of hardships and struggles I have faced as a violinist. I hope to one day be able to tell the world the whole story, but there were moments in my life that I thought I would never be able to play the violin again, and other times that I wrestled with myself and my heart after having doors slammed in my face over and over again. Being a musician is really, really hard. Not just because of the amount of work involved, and the political aspects that will unquestionably appear - but because it is connected to your emotions. Being a musician requires your whole heart and nothing less. And when you give your heart to something, inevitable countless struggles appear. What has kept me strong is my faith and my music. And when I didn’t have my music, I had to completely rely on my faith. But most of all, I want to tell others that they are beautiful and strong, and that they can make their dreams come true. That is what I want people to hear and experience through my music and my story.
