#ended up playing the original warioware#another nintendo series i absolutely adore now#very short game only 1 hour of “story” but it's all about replays and high scores#it's so wacky and bizarre#i've never seen a piece of media where a lady who works for a gelateria run by a dog is being chased by the cops because she's late for wor#and deploys a miniature pig to shoot a soccer ball at the cops and a monkey to throw banana peels#or another stage where you ride in a taxi driven by a bulldog who takes you to the ocean where you transform into a mermaid#i swear to god i'm not making this up it's in the game it's incredible
If you like the Beatles, particularly Paul, you should check out Emitt Rhodes! He sounds so similar to Paul and is a wonderful songwriter but is relatively unknown :(
