I think a big thing that people are overlooking is how Hobie looks out for his own and how much that coincides with punk culture.
Him looking out for younger teens is so fucking punk of him. He lets Gwen stay with him because she's vulnerable and struggling, he makes her a watch, he lets her keep his shoes, etc. and it's not out of romance, it's because she's family. Same with Miles; he knows Miles is naive and wants to help him, because he's been in the spider society longer and he knows what's really going on. He sees the adults, who are supposed to mentor them, targeting Miles and he just knows it's flat-out wrong and that he wants no part of it.
Hobie takes on such a big brother role for the other characters and I love it. He's more mature than the other teens in so many aspects, and he uses his experience to teach them how to get by because that's what being punk is about
hi, so... um... who is "megabird"? I was going trough your blog and saw it mentioned a lot of times. At first I thought that it was just a meme, but apparently it's not??? I'm new to the fandom, so sorry for dumb questions, and sorry if this has been answered before...
please don’t worry it isn’t a dumb question! megabird is only mentioned by name in tom zhao’s concept art, but long story short, she’s basically a divine entity of the flame and the creator of sky kids. (putting a read more in case this gets long, and of course, game spoilers ahead)

in your au, are there any altered details in the story of how lucifer fell? like we all know it was bc he hated humans and god had michael yeet him out of heaven but is any part of that changed in your au??
There’s different perceptions of how and why Lucifer fell, here’s what I got so far for my au:
From the beginning he hated being under the control of his Father, and the more his Father revealed to him about His creations, and the plans He had, and His reasons, the more Lucifer felt like some test subject, or toy. Ultimately, he felt like a pet project. He stopped fearing God, and just turned to hate him, he did start to fear for how He might use his siblings for whatever He’s got in store though. And as humanity/mortals got closer and closer to completion, God gave the angels less and less attention (not that He gave them much attention anyway, the only one He would actually interact with was Lucifer, and even then He mainly talked about His other creations and projects, this actually made Lucifer want to create life for himself and maybe make up stuff of his own but God forbid it). And while everyone loved and bowed to these mortals as they were told to, Lucifer refused to.
Lucifer got mad, and just kinda felt trapped and controlled. So he tried to get the old man’s attention. First with tantrums, then by throwing stuff around then he raised an army…and then a war started.
Really though, God kind of pushed and manipulated him into doing it.
He didn’t mean for a war to happen, he was always a little… violent maybe, or extreme but he didn’t plan on killing or hurting his siblings for it. Really, he thought that he was going to free them. But everyone else protested against him and it just broke out, he got into a “anyone who stands against me leaves me no choice” mindset.
And then, of course, Mike defeated him, they had a public trial, of sorts, mainly just God reciting every bad thing he’s done and Lucifer refusing to apologise (he did resort to begging at the last second though). Lucifer was set aflame before everyone, and then well, he uhhh walked the plank.
