Keith had a confused look on his face. A surprise? What kind of surprise? 

Keith: What kind of surprise?

Owen: You’ll see, first, close your eyes!

Keith: But then how will I see?

Owen rolled his eyes.

Owen: Just close them Keith. And then cup your hands.

Keith sighed and reluctantly closed his eyes and cup his hands.

Owen: Okay, keep them closed and…

Keith then felt something warm and fluffy being put into his cupped hands.

Owen: Now, open your eyes!

Keith slowly opened his eyes, and then his eyes lit up. 

Keith: *gasp*!!!

Owen: You kept begging for a cat, here it is. Now Keith, having a pet is a big responsibility. So you better-

Keith: Oh God, it’s purring!!! It’s asleep!!! It’s so cute!!!

Owen shook his head and smiled. At least Keith was happy.

Sodor is one of the few places in the world that has enough magic to allow them to be their proper height. Elsewhere they seem as 18-inch men. For many generators, they have been protecting Sodor from evil. Or that’s what they claim to do (often so they can get out of doing any real work).
