Been over a week since OP posted this but I can certainly do my part to continue to render their notes useless.

I would also like to add to the last argument that "safe for children" is a nonsense argument on a site that is still rife with violent racism, transphobia, Antisemitism and general white supremacy. Idk about you, but personally I think kids are far more likely to become traumatized by reading or seeing graphic depictions of how adults in the world want them dead simply for existing, than by stumbling over an uncensored cock or cunt.

We are all, at any given moment, about 5 seconds away from permanent disability.

I was driving my car to work. I am a good driver. I have no at-fault accidents in my history. I was hit by a drowsy driver that was later charged with DWI and I still ended up with permanent disability from this.

I stood up from a chair. I was sitting at a table in my work’s break room eating my lunch and stood to throw away my trash and clock in and my knee buckled underneath me and I spent three months completely non-weight-bearing on that leg and even still today there are things I can’t do anymore due to this.

It doesn’t matter if you eat right, sleep right, drive right, work right, only have sex with the right people, only purchase the right things.

Anything can happen to you. You are always 5 seconds away from becoming disabled for the rest of your life.

I have always been disabled. I haven’t always been this disabled.

I think it is the funniest thing they always eat the edge first and the middle after that. All of my guinea pigs do this or did this. And I seriously mean all of them. How funny is that? 😂

A real thing that happened is me as a teenager.

I had what turned out to be a dangerous walking pneumonia, for a week, but the manager at Burger King wouldn’t let me off.  My breathing was very loud and ragged.  I was coughing on and breathing on the food.

I wasn’t allowed to leave.  I was told if i called out, I was fired.

So Im shuffling around wheezing loudly swaying with my high fever as I work drive thru by myself, and a paramedic walked in to order dinner.

He goes ballistic, My friends.  He demands to see the Manager.  he chews him out at the top of his lungs so the whole restaurant can here.  Guys working the back came up to watch.  Customers staring and thinking hard about the infectious food they were eating.  Dude losing his shit about how infectious I was and all the people management had been endangering for days judging from my breathing and I needed to be home on antibiotics RIGHT NOW and the health Department was going to hear about this.

I went home.  i got the week off.  Didn’t even need a doctor’s note.

Getting friends management doesn’t know to do this WOULD WORK.

Same manager not letting me take my influenza home a year later  despite repeated vomiting?  Threw up in front of customers.  Customers demanded money back and started threatening the manager with lawsuits.

I got to go home and got time off until I stopped vomitting.

GO AHEAD and THROW UP in front of Customers.  THEY will Complain.

Don’t be shy.  

They are supposed to let you stay home when you are sick.  Stop protecting management. (Hiding how sick you are protects management).  They are abusing you.  Let them reap what they sow.

I was placed with homophobic white christians. I'm nearly 30 now and still trying to reconnect with the culture and family I was cut off from.

ICWA fucking matters. We need to protect it. Kids need their family, they need their people. And right now they need you too.
