Fanfiction things

oAll right I have a multi-chapter fic that I’m currently in the process of updating. However; I have another idea for a one-shot fic series and I would like to know if people would be interested in reading it.

When fighting #VillainOfTheWeek Kara somehow gets stuck as a 4 year old. 

I have a few ideas already:

  • Tiny Kara causing mischief at the DEO Base - messing with Winn’s computer, flying around the rooms.
  • Tiny Kara still having superpowers^ but is nowhere near as strong anymore so she actually can get hurt, cue protective Alex
  • Kara being scared of thunderstorms and loud noises
  • Kara being left with Winn because now J’onn has to cover for the city loss of Supergirl. Kara pouting and getting scared whenever Alex or James are out in the field
  • Kara riding shotgun in Maggie’s cop car and playing with the sirens.
  • One person cannot look after this tiny child alone so Kara stays with different people depending on who has the free time.

(In this universe Lena knows and helps at the DEO when needed)

  • Whenever Lena shows up tiny Kara blushes and gets really nervous.
  • Tiny child Kara who has no filter tells Lena that she thinks she’s beautiful. Kara drawing pictures of the two of them together and Lena is the only one who can calm angry child Kara down when she’s upset.
  • Alex giving Kara juice cartons and everyone doting on this sweet innocent child.
  • Reluctant Space Dad sitting with Kara as she colours or when he has to give her piggyback rides with the most deadpan face.

These are just a few of my ideas but any more are welcome. Let me know if this is something people would be interested in reading and any suggestions are gladly appreciated! Will add any suggestions I like in bold!

  • Kara wants to play hide seek with J'onn. To her everything is a game, she starts to run around the DEO always doing something and J'onn is going after her. 
  • Kara has a stuffed animal dog that she NEEDS in order to nap. She names it Krypto -  @bobbywatson <3
  • Kara wants to be just like her big sister. And as children do she copies Alex’s behaviour. (her big sister wears a cool uniform at work and tells people what to do and so does Space dad.)  Cue Winn and his sewing skills. 
  • ^ Next time Alex gets back from a mission she finds little Kara in a tiny DEO uniform complete with badge, standing on a chair(that on closer inspection has a tiny NCPD jacket that looks just like Maggie’s hanging off it) beside J'onn with her hands on her hips waiting to debrief the team.  
  • Obviously they can’t give her any weapons so she has a water gun in her tiny holster, and different little snacks in all the other compartments on the belt. They did give her real handcuffs, which they felt only a bit bad about when she cuffed mon-el to a chair and flew away. (anon I love you for this little addition<3)
  • Cat and Lucy end up having to babysit at one point. 
  • ^ Cat pretends to not know about Kara being Supergirl in order to take care of her, and to everyone’s “surprise” she is a total softie and great with Kara. 
  • Lucy watches Kara at one point, and she lets Kara wear her cool hat and Kara starts saluting everyone and every thing they come across (yes that includes saluting her stuffed dog pup Krypto)
  • Cat finally giving Kara one of her cupcakes because damn it if even she can’t resist a 4 year old Ray Of Sunshine pouting and pleading with her
  • 4 year old Kara reverts back to speaking Kryptonian especially when she’s angry or upset. J’onn who can speak some Kryptonian does not approve when this tiny girl grumbles a “bad word trying to punch another of his brand new monitors.
  • ^ which then gives me Tiny Kara punching punchbags with James.
  • Lena is a smart woman and because of Lex and learning that Kara is from Krypton Lena learns to speak Kryptonian. She speaks it almost fluently. Kara and Lena often have conversations in Kryptonian. - @whiterose-blackrose <3<3
  • Kara is restless and almost always has bundles of energy so getting her to sleep is quite a task. Lena is called whenever Kara is being particularly difficult because for some reason she is the sleep whisperer. (Alex knows it’s because Kara likes to snuggle up to Lena, falling asleep cradled in Lena’s arms -one hand wrapped around her Krypto whilst the other clings to Lena’s clothing)
  • Alex often finds Kara sitting atop of Maggie’s shoulders, Maggie is great with Kara even if she does sneakily give Kara two more scoops of ice-cream when she’s only allowed one.
  • M’gann WHO DID NOT LEAVE gives Tiny Kara stickers, a shit ton of stickers. Kara has a book full of space stickers. When she thinks someone did a really good job she gives them a sticker and everyone tries to act like it’s no big deal but even the toughest DEO agents blush and melt when she beams and presents them with one. You know every agent is working their butt off to earn stickers from their adorable Baby-Agent Kara. J’onn doesn’t even complain, productivity is way up! -anon you are wonderful! <3<3<3
  • ^ (my addition to this) Kara gives her favourite people more than one sticker and proceeds to pepper them with multiple stickers. Winn sniggers as Alex’s DEO badge has at least 10 and Lena’s dress is just covered in brightly coloured star stickers. 
  • Kara gets Alex and Maggie to take her to the park, holding both of their hands as they swing her and then they help her pick out some of the nicest flowers she can find. Lena is in her office when Kara arrives nervously clutching Alex’s hand, the other clutching a large bouquet of flowers. She hands them to Lena with a shy smile and a whispered “Flowers are pretty but not as pretty as you”. Lena answers with a kiss to Kara’s cheek. - @yellowanchor17 <3 (I added a bit to it)
  • Kara’s senses are heightened and she gets attached to being able to comforting scents. Kara likes to give Lucy lots of hugs because “she smells nice” -Lena will deny it but she’s a little bit jealous. That is until she finds out that Kara thinks Lena’s hugs “remind her of home”.  - @sarcasm-with-sarah <3 (I added a little bit but this is perfect!)
  • Kara can be quite protective so when people *coughs* Mon-El *coughs* get a little too close to her favourite people (Alex, Lena, Maggie, Lucy etc) she tends to throw things, things that tiny 4 year old children should not throw. After almost having his hand frozen he soon learns to keep his flirting to a minimum…unless it is involves a certain tech puppy. - @sarcasm-with-sarah (THIS! I love it)
  • ^ This links in to my own idea: Mon-El is actually great with kids, he plays games with Kara and tells her stories about space. He tells her about Royalty on Daxam and what was expected of them. Kara realises he has feelings for Winn and it becomes her match-making mission to pair the two.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED

Elsa and Fleur becoming friends and everyone’s drooling over the duo.

At some point Anna mistakes Fleur for Elsa and hugs her from behind leading to a very jealous Hermione.

Korra’s that exchange student from the east while Asami is the resident pure blood who kinda has a crush on her and offers to show her around.

Asami and Hermione sharing schematics and Asami backing Hermione’s SPEW with her family’s influence and soon the whole girl gang is in on it.

Awkward moment where Fleur takes Hermione up to one of the Astronomy towers for a good snog only to interrupt Korrasami and then run into Elsanna in the staircases and Hermione’s just like “what are you two sisters doing”

Fleur kinda can tell that Elsa and Anna have a thing but she’s very open minded and Veela culture accepts almost all types of love and believe in soulmates and how they’re sometimes born as siblings or twins so she keeps silent about knowing the nature of elsanna’s relationship.

Asami shares her ideas with Elsa who makes ice sculpture out of them. Korra and Anna stalk from a distance because wtf are two brainy beauties doing together #jealousgirlfriends

@notyourlaura requested Hermione and Fleur for the female ships headcanons and I got v carried away alright

  • ok lbh Hermione would have very mixed feelings about Fleur when they first met
  • But Fleur would fucking fall in love Hermione immediately I am 110% on this
  • Hermione’s confused bisexual heart would be in turmoil because like ‘she is too pretty, and she’s a veela, and she’s not that impressive I mean yeah she’s in the triwizard tournament but like whatever and why does she keep talking to me is she trying to get one over on Harry like what’
  • And as sweet and lovely and pretty and fiery as Fleur is she would be tragic at wooing someone because all her life she never had to try, men just sort of fell for her, even if her english wasn’t perfect or she said something wrong they still liked her, so she is just a mess with Hermione
  • Fleur would talk to all her Beauxbaton friends about how smart and lovely and pretty Hermione is but anytime she tried to say something to Hermione she would mess up and insult her because her english is still a process
  • ‘She said my hair was terrifying’ But like she meant terrific or something equally ridiculous
  • Viktor takes and interest in Hermione too and him and Fleur get low key really competitive over her attention
  • Like to the point where literally everyone knows except Hermione, who sort of knows that Viktor is interested but is still pretty convinced Fleur hates her or something
  • But then also she knows Fleur doesn’t hate her but she also doesn’t know like?? why is this pretty girl talking to me and why is she insulting me again and why does she look so nice while she’s insulting me what is going on
  • Ron would be hella bitter ok because he still has a thing for Hermione and she’s ‘fraternizing with the enemy/enemies’ 
  • And he would insult Viktor and Hermione would be annoyed and then he would insult Fleur and Hermione would go 0-100 in a heartbeat 
  • and then later she would be like ‘im just being truthful’ after roasting tf out of Ron as if she hadn’t just let him rant about Viktor for like fifteen minutes and her only response to that was just to roll her eyes and ignore him
  • Hermione goes to the Yule Ball with Viktor because when Fleur tries to bring up the Yule Ball she is trying to ask if Hermione has been asked by anyone but says ‘You haven’t been asked, no?’ and Hermione had literally just had a conversation with Ron who had assumed she wouldn’t get asked so she thinks Fleur is doing the same thing and she just goes off
  • And Fleur is like?? both upset that she upset her but also like ‘wow look at her hair when she’s angry it sparks and her accent is so pretty and I wonder what it would feel like to kiss her’
  • So Fleur would go alone to the Yule Ball and she would dance with whoever she wanted and she would literally stare at Hermione from the moment she arrived to the moment she left the ballroom
  • Oh my god when she found Hermione crying she would, like, aggressively bolster her up
  • (Fleur would be the type whose pep-talks are like ‘you are literally perfect and everyone around you is fucked and you don’t need them–no, stop saying you did something wrong, you literally do nothing wrong ever shut up you’re perfect and this is everyone else’s fault’ even if the person she’s talking to literally does everything wrong all the time)
  • And because Fleur is angry that Hermione’s upset she’s not as flustered so she can speak easier and she can actually get her thoughts accross correctly
  • Hermione would listen to it and correct her on her grammar because obviously she would do that and internally she would be freaking out like??? ‘why is she being nice?? oh my god she’s so pretty and now she’s nice oh my god’ she would be so overwhelmed
  • When Hermione is Viktor’s most important person in the second challenge Fleur would be absolutely devastated because obviously that means they’re in love and she doesn’t stand a chance
  • (Her sister notices the pining looks she is sending in Hermione’s direction after the second challenge and she would ask about it and immediately regret it because Fleur would go on for, like, an hour, because at least in French she can articulate how beautiful Hermione is to her and her sister is the only person she can talk to about it now because all her friends have told her that they have heard enough about Hermione oh my god)
  • She would go to Hermione basically to say ‘I respect your decision and if you want me to leave you alone I will’
  • She rehearses the words because she wants to say it right this time
  • And oh my god Hermione would sit there in petrified silence because her little confused bisexual heart would be like…running around in circles and screaming 
  • It would definitely be one of those ‘are you flirting with me?’ ‘I have been for the past four months but thanks for noticing’ situations oh my god
  • Hermione would tentatively offer for Fleur to tell her in french, because once Fleur finds out Hermione thought she hated her she’s trying to explain that she doesn’t, but she’s nervous, so she keeps messing it up
  • And Fleur would just like…stop…like…you understand french?? are?? are you serious this is so much easier
  • and she would just like wax poetic about Hermione for like five solid minutes as Hermione tries to keep up because like yeah she knows some french but oh my god please stop talking so fast did you just call me angelic what is going on??
  • when they start dating Fleur would be so extra oh my god she would be around Hermione all the time and she would compliment her in french if she couldn’t think of the word in english and her and Hermione would have these odd half english half french conversations that no one can quite keep up with
  • Fleur smiling like a damn fool everytime Hermione corrects her grammar 
  • Hermione kissing Fleur everytime a guy is staring at Fleur not exactly because she’s jealous but because she knows Fleur hates it when guys stare at her so she doesn’t want her to notice so she just kisses her to make her happy
  • Fleur begging Hermione to let her play with her hair and Hermione doesn’t want her to but then when she finally does Fleur manages to wrestle it into impressively pretty braids so Hermione just lets her play with her hair all the time and Fleur is loving it
  • Ron would still be bitter but he wouldn’t say anything because Hermione would hex the shit out of him
  • Harry would ship fleur and hermione so hard oh my god he would be rooting for them so hard
  • Fleur and Hermione would be such a power couple I’m so in love with them oh my god

I’ve just come to the realisation that Hermione Granger probably memory charmed her parents and packed them off to Australia long before she told Harry and Ron she’d done it at the beginning of Deathly Hallows.

She literally never goes home from Goblet of Fire onwards, spending her summers with the boys instead. In GoF she’s remarkably blase about her teeth, something her dentist parents would have noticed and felt hurt about. 

If I were to guess, I’d say she probably did it after the wizarding world cup when she’d seen exactly how the wizarding world treats muggles and decided not to let that happen to her folks. Hermione knows which way the wind is blowing and gets in early. She’d be more than capable of doing it. 

…Oh my God.

hermione is fucking ruthless and i will fight anyone who tells me otherwise that was her “negative” gryffindor trait was she incredibly brave and courageous and loyal? yes but she was also vicious and violent and trapped a woman as a beetle in a jar for over a year because she pissed her off
