If you’ve never felt like going to sleep and never waking up, then you don’t understand how waking up can be the hardest thing for someone. If you’ve never felt what it’s like to want to stop breathing, you don’t understand how someone can be brave by doing nothing else but breathe today, nothing else but stay alive. It may seem as if they are doing so little. It may seem as if they are doing nothing. But, it’s a lot. It’s everything. Don’t be so hard on others. Have some compassion.
