Θα'ρθεί καιρός που θα αλλάξουν τα πράγματα. Να το θυμάσαι Μαρία. Θυμάσαι Μαρία στα διαλείμματα εκείνο το παιχνίδι που τρέχαμε κρατώντας την σκυτάλη - μη βλέπεις εμένα- μη κλαις. Εσύ είσαι η ελπίδα άκου, θα'ρθεί καιρός που τα παιδιά θα διαλέγουν γονιούς δε θα βγαίνουν στην τύχη, δεν θα υπάρχουν πόρτες κλειστές με γερμένους απ'έξω και τη δουλειά θα την διαλέγουμε, δεν θα είμαστε άλογα να μας κοιτάνε στα δόντια.
Οι άνθρωποι -σκέψου! -θα μιλάνε με χρώματα και άλλοι με νότες. Να φυλάξεις μοναχά σε μια μεγάλη φιάλη με νερό λέξεις και έννοιες σαν και αυτές, απροσάρμοστοι - καταπίεση - μοναξιά - τιμή - κέρδος - εξευτελισμός για το μάθημα της ιστορίας.
Είναι Μαρία - δεν θέλω να λέω ψέμματα - δύσκολοι καιροί. Και θάρθουνε και άλλοι. Δεν ξέρω - μην περιμένεις και πολλά από εμένα -τόσα έζησα, τόσα έμαθα, τόσα λέω κι απ'όσα διάβασα ένα κρατάω καλά: “ Σημασία έχει να παραμένεις άνθρωπος ”. Θα την αλλάξουμε την ζωή. Παρόλα αυτά Μαρία.

I’m literally sobbing
This was my home, Liverpool, yesterday. Long story short, members of a neo-Nazi group called National Action UK organised a ‘White Man March’ following the Liverpool Pride LGBT celebrations. They plastered their awful posters all over the city centre and even used their negative media attention as a way of advertising.
When the ‘parade’ took place, the turnout was pretty poor. They were also vastly outnumbered by anti-facism protests and public speakers, outraged members of the public, and police. Eventually they were overwhelmed and the march was cancelled.
Those who weren’t arrested went to Lime Street Station and locked themselves in the lost luggage depot like utter cowards - the same people that told the mayor that they would burn Liverpool to the ground if their march was stopped. The power of unity overcame these nazi sympathisers and I couldn’t be prouder of my fellow scousers, and since National Action insisted (repeatedly) that ‘free spech’ gave them right to protest, new laws to ban fascist groups from demonstrating have been suggested. Well done, Liverpool.
