I honestly cannot believe how far T(W)ERF rhetoric has spread on this site. They used to be the ONLY ones I saw openly mocking the concept of identifying as queer, the ONLY ones I saw referring to people as ‘kweer’ in a mocking way.

You all are so 100% certain you know how to identify radfem and T(W)ERF rhetoric and can’t possibly fall victim to it but guess what.

They are nowhere near above pulling this shit. And you all are falling for it.

And if you think that screenshot is an isolated incident, think again!

There are countless radfem and T(W)ERF blogs that I’ve blocked that said ‘secret radfem sideblog’ in the description.

Like, it’s great that we’ve made being a T(W)ERF so unaccepted on this site that they can only be open about the most toxic of their views in secret side blogs rather than on their main, but it’s time to accept that they’re taking advantage of that in a really fucking insidious way.

Just a tip on how to recognize these blogs. If you follow someone and you start getting suggested t*rf blogs that’s a good sign the person has sideblog for that stuff. There was some cowboy blog I followed a while ago and I used to get follow suggestions saying “this blog is similar to cowboy whatever” and it was a ton of t*rf shit and low and behold they ended up outing themselves

This is why we learn about what actual TERF ideology is. Saying “trans women are women” and “TERFS not allowed” and putting “TERF destroyer” or whatever in your bio is not enough. Learn how TERFs actually work, and what they believe, and where it stems from, and how they express diluted versions in order to warm up non-TERFs to their ideas.

Do the fucking work. Unfollow/block people who express TERF ideas even if they don’t label themselves as TERFs, challenge those ideas in your community, and you won’t have to worry about secret TERF blogs anymore.

Current mcyt sphere reminds me of a raft. The raft used to be huge so people on it invited people floating in the water and gave them shelter. But then the raft started breaking off piece by piece and it became smaller and crowded. So some of those people who got invited on the raft decided they need to throw someone off the raft, the people who were originally on the raft disagreed and wanted to find another solution, so they became the target. They started getting pushed off, and people pushing them off screamed at the rest „hey either you help us or you get pushed off too and drown” so the other people started pushing the original raft residents off too or at least pretending so they don’t end up pushed out too or attacked by the piranhas(twitter)

This isn’t just about dteam, so many creators left, had to take mental health breaks. And all of them agree twitter is a toxic cesspool but then they do everything they can to appease that toxic cesspool. Either you all take a stance against that toxicity and stop listening to twitter being insane or it’s never going to end it’s going to continue hurting you and your peers

c!rivals duo au where everything is the same, except, during their duel, dream accidentally performed a piglin courtship custom, and techno decided to accept. like, y'know bird mating rituals? yeah it's the same thing in piglin culture except with fighting, and dream happened to do that and he kept up with techno, so of course techno was going to accept. what's a husband if not a guaranteed sparring partner?

so imagine a "getting married for tax benefits" scenario, except from techno's pov it's getting married for sparring benefits, and from dream's pov he's completely oblivious.

now, techno doesn't really know what species dream is (he thinks dream's human? but he's not sure), but phil tells him that he should perform the courtship customs of dream's culture to be respectful. except techno doesn't fully know what dream is, so he just keeps going through a bunch of customs, like throwing them at a wall except none of them are sticking. and of course he's anxious because oh no phil, what if he's being super disrespectful and now his rival and fiance is never going to speak to him again.

dream thinks techno is acting a bit weird, but he figures techno is just like that.

and then of course dream gets himself put into prison without a trial, and. well. techno's not gonna let this abuse of power slide. especially because it involves his fiance.
