This little critter has been finished for a while now, but I’ve finally got it in a hoop! Why did no one warn me what a pain the flexi-hoops are to put on lol 🙃

Finally finished! Thanks to Kelly Dunn (gold conversion) and Tracy Jenkins (gate) for the inspiration and Sandra Hildreth Ball for being my sounding board for the many tweaks I did, for example finding this particular gate and the idea to add extensions to make it higher. This has been an absolute joy to stitch!
For the gate, I used the pattern “Guardians” by Whispered in the Winds. I repeated two of the middle rows to make it taller.
