Let’s have a chat concerning The Amazing Book is Not On Fire. The book is to be released in America a week after it is released in the UK (no literally 7 days after the Brits get it in their hands) and as much as we want to celebrate with you, I think I can speak on behalf of everyone else that we do not want anything spoiled. I have no idea why we get it later than you (I get Troye’s album the same day as australians so i’m a little confused idek) but even if we didn’t, understand that shipping from the Dan and Phil Shop can literally take up to a month. I ordered through Amazon and got one day shipping so I’ll either get it the 13th or 14th, but there are others that were able to pre-order through the DnP shop, please take into consideration how long it takes to ship overseas. (Even if the books ship out a week before release, we’d still get them two weeks later)
For me personally, I don’t want to see a screen cap or scan or a blurry photo of the inside of the book. I don’t want to see or read direct quotes. I don’t want to stop you from being excited and celebrating like we always do when something big happens, but I am begging you to please tag your future TABINOF posts (#tabinof is literally perfect). The release date is about a month to 6 weeks away (depending on where you live) so it is crucial that we start getting word around now.
Please wait at least till November to start posting photos, quotes, etc. freely. I want to be as surprised as you when i finally get my hands on the book, but i don’t want to leave the internet for a week either lmao.
