Superheroes inspire me
As I lay in bed, thinking about my upcoming finals and what I will do with my life after graduating high school I admit something to myself.
Superheroes inspire me!!!
I know it may sound ridiculous to some and just a sentence to some, but to some, who relate to this, they know.
I have mental health issues and it's safe to say that no one motivates me than the thought of how great Tony Stark is and how smart he is, how intelligent and amazing Charles Xavier is, how strong and hard working Dr Strange is, to name a few!
When I'm having trouble focusing my energy on studying I remember how smart they are and I study like my life depends on it.
When I'm feeling like it's not worth it all, I remember what they accomplished and remember the prize that comes at the end of it.
Here I am, 18 years old, and I say to you that superheroes inspire me and that they are important.
They might be fictional but they are amazing and I am so grateful for them, because of them I will become a great doctor, because of them I am much more motivated and smarter that I was.
And yes it might sound childlike and stupid to some, but it's very important to many.
All of you out there that gets inspired by smart, hard working superheroes YOU ARE VALID!
My BoS
These are some pictures of my current Book of Shadows. It’s clearly a work in progress.
To anyone looking to start their own BoS- just do it. Seriously. It took me forever to “start” on my BoS because I was afraid of messing it up or it not being ‘perfect’. But that’s the beauty of it. It’s YOURS. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Witchcraft is not perfect and neither are we as humans. I love my BoS, and every time I write in it, I get a rush. I can remember the first time I wrote in it- I was so scared and my hand was shaking. But it felt so right.
I cleansed my book and pen with sage before I began, and I also said a spell over both.

Other subjects I plan to eventually include herbs, oils, and crystals. I may do a separate book for these because I am very interested in these subjects and plan to include a vast amount of information. I also plan to include information about deity, gods/goddesses, and offerings.
Lastly, I plan to have a separate book just for cosmic witchcraft. I identify as a cosmic witch, so this where I will put the most time and effort. The book I posted above it going to be the “basics” of witchcraft.
My cosmic book will include:
☪️As many constellations as I can study and their origins
☪️Planetary Correspondences
☪️Planet Worship & Astrolatry
☪️My Birth Chart
☪️The Different Moons of the Year (January- Wolf Moon, February- Snow Moon, March- Crow Moon, etc) and their meanings, correspondences, etc

☪️12 Houses
The subjects you can put in a BoS are literally endless. But the biggest suggestion I can give is to just start it. So many new witches are afraid to take the plunge. They want their books to be perfect and aesthetic- which I totally get. But the purpose of the book is not to be pretty, it’s supposed to help you in your craft. My book is nothing I envisioned it would be, and that’s okay. I love the way it is.
I know most people prefer not to share their pages in their books. I am hoping this post inspires others to begin working in their book. I searched online for pictures of inside a BoS for many months before I started my own. I finally decided to begin writing in mine, and I’m so glad I did. But I had to push myself to do so. I can continue to post more pictures as I add to my book if others would be interested!
The last piece of advice I can give is to make sure the information you are putting in your book is reliable and credible. I checked my information from a variety of sources to make sure they all added up. It is very easy to just put false information out there. Never believe everything you read.
Thanks for reading!

Do you ever mourn letting go of something that barely was there more than the thing itself, it’s like hey I’ll cling to it a bit more maybe there’s a tiny bit of hope still left.
Red, yellow and orange days are chaotic. Black and colorless days are quieter.
