ENB are a mixed bag, especially if you leave the games other lighting settings at their default. Quite often, people with good screenshots like this have tweaked their ENB to look it’s best for a given scenario. Console commands, like “fw” (forceweather) can be used to get appropriate atmosphere, and generally most ENBs allow tweaking of brightness, saturation, and contrast. One good ENB for customization is Rampage. A lot of people also like the Kountervibe series. One guy I know swears by Seasons of Skyrim. Snapdragon may also be a good choice. For anime-style screenshots, AnkoENB seems to be popular. The issue with a lot of these, though, is that you’re gonna be trading performance for quality, so they’re not always the best for gameplay.

I really like Unity bc like the only entity that can keep up with Rick is a hivemind that assimilates bara guys and giraffes and I think that’s pretty great

hey it me. anybody who has followed me long enough knows this is definitely me.

I always find it strange that the media likes to bring up Wu as if the attacks on her are because she’s a woman working in game development, when in actuality most of the attacks against her in particular are more close to transphobia than misogyny. But, y'know, I can keep my #GamerGate story straight without indiscriminately blaming everyone who has taken issue with her for the actions of Ralph. :^)

every now and then this post gets notes again and i get reminded about Michael and how much he fucked up, and i feel a bit better about my choices in life.

this is the fan out of a 2011 iMac. see how it’s never been cleaned in its entire life? that’s because you have to remove the motherboard to get to it. this would be the motherboard whose screws are all painted white and say WARRANTY VOID IF REMOVED on them.

that’s right, if you want to clean the fan of your computer that gets hot enough to function as a small space heater if it’s not running at full efficiency, you need to void your warranty. there’s a reason my family’s two iMacs both (this is #2) became unusable because they essentially melted from the inside

Geez, I have a “mid-year 2012″ model MacBook Pro and I can’t even find any vent for a fan.

Though my family believe the aluminum cases are supposed to be heat sinks. (we currently have 3 Mac computers, 2 desktops and my laptop)

Planned obsolesence. They WANT it to break so you have to buy a new one.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the shit that comes out in new IOS updates is designed to eventually bug out the software in iPhones. The only reason I fuck with them is because they’re damn near immune to viruses.

Does that immunity matter if the company’s software itself is malware?

There is literally no reason to buy an apple computer in 2016 when you can get the same or better functionality from many other laptops with much better performance with a lower cost.

Buy a can of compressed air. Aim the nozzle it into the heatsink outlet(rear opening) from about 10-20cm away(depends on the pressure of the can. Just so you dont get frost damage on the internal components) and give it a few good blasts. Clears out the worst of it.

I’m pretty sure a can of compressed air can fix most things on a computer from my experience.

Macs seem to have changed... I have a mid-2009 Macbook Pro and I have no problem cleaning the fans. Remove the back cover, a few blasts of compressed air, and set to go. I even replace the fans myself if they break, buy them on iFixit.
