If you like Automatons, you should check out Musee Mechanique in San Francisco!
Hello, I have heard of this place before. The Carpetbagger has an interesting video about it:
I would love to visit there someday :)
Bird animatronic for sale at the Streetsboro Flea Market in Ohio. He’s still there.
He’s one of those prize egg dispensers, and has no eggs. He clearly needs work. I think he’s a cutie!

I agree what a cutie. I remember you submitting him before but tumblr seems to have flagged that post and I can’t appeal it.
Here’s hoping he finds a home soon <3
I have some animatronic circus band related figures that I found in a friends barn. He bought them at auction about 30 years ago. I got 3 of them working but I have no idea of their actual age. The materials, motors, screws and assembly is the only clue to suggest they are vintage. You can send me an E-Mail and I will forward some pictures. Thanks
Hi! Thanks for your message!
I would absolutely love to see these animatronics. The only two animatronic circus bands I can think of are the Circus World Jamboree and the Circus Playhouse band. Could it be one of these two bands you have figures from? and how awesome that you got 3 of them up and working.
You can submit the pictures here. Or if you prefer send me a message with your email address (I won’t post it publicly don’t worry) and I’ll email you.
Hi everyone. Sorry for the absence since March.
Thanks for all your messages I will get around to answering them very soon :)
Hoping to get back to running this blog properly in the new year. Happy Christmas everyone <3
Cow anon here, that is him, thank you! His jaw lever looks very thin, and his jaw was pretty big, so I'm guessing it just couldn't hold and removing it was all they could do.
You’re welcome. If you ever want to submit any pictures of the animatronics there then please do :)
do you know of the atlantis show in cesars palace in las vegas? literally gave my sister nightmares.
Hi! Yes I answered an ask about this in January:
Got anything on the country junction cow? (Sorry I forget her name) Unfortunately the last time I went, my location has stopped caring for her. Her jaw covering was on the floor! She worked, I guess, could be worse.
Hiya.Oh no what a shame she was no longer being looked after :(
I found this video of a cow at Country Junction that looks like it’s missing the cosmetics for the bottom jaw so this could be the one you saw? (go to 0:36)
Couldn’t find much else about the animatronics in this place unfortunately.
Oakley’s friend (more or less) was a grumpy worm named Wiggles who lived in his…uh…ear? Bark? Tree-ear? I don’t know.

Drucillas zoo. Animatronic Lion I made 2 years ago. Real skin treated to make weather proof. Good to see it’s survived 2 years of weather with no effect to the skin. #lion #taxidermy #drucillaszoo #animatronic #weatherproof (at Alfriston, East Sussex) https://www.instagram.com/p/BuH3am3HpAE/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=uviwqdys1src
