I think the kicker for me is that I have been watching Jenna for YEARS-like almost the whole time she’s been on YouTube-and the clips of the videos she showed I had never seen before. So the people who were coming after her were REALLY digging. I’m just sad and I feel angry on her behalf that she feels like she has to stop her dream job because people are reaching this far ☹️
Tea ☕ And the reason for that is that she realised that stuff wasn't okay, removed it years ago, and apologised. Like any mature, normal person should when they grow past problematic stuff
I have never felt so spiritually connected to a youtube comment before.
Me seeing Jenna and Julien being patient, loving, and responsible with their adopted greyhound, knowing she will be adored and cared for by two of the kindest dog owners I have ever seen:
both julien and dan know how to write a proper birthday tweet for their loved ones
my favorite genre of youtubers is people who went to prestigious colleges for science degrees but ended up doing comedy on youtube

I know the joke is that Jenna Marbles does a lotta dumb stuff with her dogs and that’s funny but like. I don’t think people pay enough attention to just how well she treats her dogs? Not in a spoiled way I mean, but like. She genuinely cares about their happiness and cares to do research and put SO much effort into her and Julien’s dogs, it’s honestly amazing. Jenna and Julien do god’s work by explaining the training they’re doing with Bunny, and always pointing out that they can honestly understand their dog’s cues when they feel anyone may misunderstand. (an example is Jenna telling Marble that he can bark as a warning, if he needs to, not to attack or bark a lot. Or Jenna and Julien both understanding when Kermit cries and is in actual pain.)
Like yeah sure haha cute derpy dogs who are funny memes, but like being entirely honest I am LIVING for all the educational content they’re dishing out.
Idk I just don’t think her or Julien get nearly enough credit for being such amazing pet owners, instead of being people who own pets just to make videos.
Jenna: I hope we have kids someday so they can grow up and I can show them this and they can just be like “man my mom”- Julien: So, they can emancipate themselves?
