Over the fact that your face will turn ghostly pale
They smear ruby red lipstick over your mouth to hide the truth
That you will throw up bile for three hours
When your eyes roll back and start to close
They will paint mascara on your eyelashes
You will want to take back every milligram that you downed
They associate pills with pretty peaceful quiet deaths
Convulsions are not quiet
Screaming is not peaceful
No matter how much they will romanticize it
Overdosing is not fucking pretty
