Hello the internet! This is Odin Mumblebee (Yeet) a 15 week old special needs Apple-Head Chihuahua and he's here to ask for a little help on his journey. After a couple of assessments we believe Odin has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, it is a neurological issue that effects his balance and coordination. He has a focal/intention tremor and currently very minimal use of his back legs. But! No pain! Hecan also wag his tail 🥰
Odin was rescued from a very bad situation from some amazing people and made his way here to us as a private foster. He's been assessed by a regular veterinarian as well as a specialist. He's doing hydrotherapy as well as acupuncture and just thriving. He's doubled his body weight and has come out of his shell beautifully. But needs an MRI for a proper full diagnosis to give a better view of his future. The MRI is the one thing that hits the wallet a bit harder so we've made our little man a Ko-fi account to add to our saving for his scans and future vet visits. We don't need a lot, most everything is doable but every dollar makes for a better brighter future. Even if you can't help, thank you for reading about this amazing man and his journey.
