With how many times staff members and teachers turn out to be dangerous secret villains and just generally partial and unlikible wizards, I just think Hogwarts should do background checks

I was reading a book involving villainous mushrooms, told Grandma about it, and she said, "Oh! It's like Dracula in my day!" So BAM! 30 mins of doing stuff later and here's some Vampiric Mushrooms!

This is the first Corpse Party OC I'd like to show off, here's Riko Saruwatori! She's for Dead Patient, so if you haven't played it there will be *slight* spoilers.

How she was drawn on paper (needed to separate the possible expressions and body+face because I end up screwing up the face when I draw on top of it... I'll need to practice getting over that)

Here's her body and face when digitally drawn, I'm not gonna claim it's the best, but it could be worse. It's good for someone that hasn't touched digital drawing in around 2 years, lol

Took me forever to find the English layout of the card layout.

Anyway, about Riko:

Design:

Riko is a 5'7 young girl below average weight with light blonde hair, resembling the jasmine she's named after (Riko meaning jasmine-child with certain kanji). Her hair is short, so that it won't get yanked on by her little brother, Kentaro, when she gives him piggyback rides. She also has deep emerald eyes that resemble her father's.

Personality

Riko loves to explore and find out new things and new places, adoring the quiet (or not-so-quiet, depending on if she brought her little brother) forest walks next to her home.

However, ever since her parents divorced (after an unfortunate accident involving her falling from a tree) her mother moved closer to the city, causing her to enjoy walks like that less than ever before. She has also recently become more timid and unsure of herself. Being less-social and overall making little contributions to group activities, becoming more indecisive by the day, and letting others take the lead.

Something that hasn't seemed to change, however, is her protectiveness towards her 11 year old brother. In fact, after the separation, it seemed to have strengthened considerably.

Story Integration

You'd find her in Dead Patient, in the 1st Chapter, in the normal ending. After Ayame encounters her nametag in the Locked Puzzle Room (via Ritsuko giving it to her), and after Ayame encounters Tomohisa freaking out.

Riko is running away from a walking corpse, screaming, "THEY CAN REVIVE THEMSELVES!?" Ayame, being too lawful-good for her own self-preservation, helps Riko. Riko gives Ayame a brief thank-you before telling her and Ritsuko to look away for a moment. They do so as the screen fades to black, while the graphic sounds of cutting and ripping something apart can be heard.

The screen goes back to normal as Ayame sees that Riko tore apart the zombie's head from its shoulders with a scalpel she apparently "found" in one of the rooms earlier. Riko tells the two that it's to try to ensure the zombies don't come back to life.

Ayame tells Riko about the check-in card that seemed to belong to her. Riko seems to panic for a moment before asking for it back, Ayame obliges and gives it to Riko. Riko thanks her and joins the party.

Once the group gets to the door Tomohisa was seemingly running away from, Riko decides to stick outside, while Ayame and Ritsuko go in.

Once the door shuts and the two on the other side are locked in, Riko tries her best to get the door to budge, along with Ritsuko on the other side, but there's no progress until Ayame defeats the hulking zombie inside.

After Ayame and Ritsuko finally get out, with two new members added to the party, Riko introduces herself to them, and follows along, trying to find and get through the exit.

The There’s Only One Bed Trope, but the two people involved are both too stubborn to accept the bed.

“You can have the bed, I’ll sleep on the floor tonight.” “What!? That just makes me feel guilty! You should have the bed!” “I was the one that offered it to you, you should take it,” “I’m giving the offer back, you should take it!”

And it just goes on until they both end up sleeping on the floor out of stubbornness.

Oh also, since this is becoming a slight blog, I'd like to see what people would like to see from me

Honestly, good Thanksgiving! I got a snake that's longer than me!

He's just so larg!

I honestly think that this Thanksgiving Break is making me lose it! I woke up this morning from Grandma who immediately gave me a cup of coffee and seemed to be in a bit of a rush.

I look on the stove and see 1:02.

"Oh my gosh! It's 1:00!" It's a little dark out, so that makes sense, and Grandma's hurrying all over the place, so I guess I just had a super deep sleep at the worst time ever.

Grandma has a full minute of laughter before telling me that it's just the bread in the oven cooking for an hour and two minutes.

Rowlett(HollowKnight OC)

This is my Hollow Knight SilkSong OC(Shhhuusshhh! I know SS isn’t out yet, but can you realllly blame me for being excited?). Her name is Rowlett, she lives in the Poly Kingdom. She is a Roly Poly.

(This is the first design of her. It was on my tablet, using AudioDesk Sketchbook, in a bumpy car ride.)

This was made a little less than a year ago. when I knew a bit more about what Hollow Knight was, but when I didn't have the game.

This is the computer version, dono how well I did. (I also must have done this on a whim, at night. Considering Her name has 1 t, instead of 2. Or maybe it was after I decided to actually have her name be 2 t’s. but I digress)

This was for an art project, like "how well can you transfer a tablet pic, to a computer?" The computer did not have blur, or blemish.

About Rowlet.

Rowlett(or Rowlette(pronounced, Rowl-let-te) if in HollowNest) Is a traveler that carries maps in her shell. She is a roly poly, and is pretty defensless only carrying a small rock nail that she found, until Maryarch(or https://aminoapps.com/c/hollowknightamino/page/user/akari/o0o4_VVsJfDRZ6WppvqVbVlKR2WddqR7rY because I don't know how else to link someone) renforces it with strong metal, instead of breakable rock.

She loves life, so much so that some in the Poly Kingdom would say she, "Rolls in a cloud made of Silk Flowers."

Physical attributes: She will curl up in a ball as a main form of attacking, only to miss and roll into a tree. It's a distraction if anything.

She has anntenae under her hat that glow diffrent colors depending on mood(She is a half-firefly, sorry, forgot to mention it).

Sometimes when she's distressed she'll chew or eat her maps, or blades of grass(I thought this was perfect since she’s roly poly, and they eat like.. rotting wood, and stuff).

If she falls asleep intentionally, she'll curl up into a ball, putting her hat next to her, and plant her weapon in the ground. If unintentionally however(such as fainting etc..) she won't curl into a ball.

Friends: Maryarch-as the first friend she had outside the Poly Kingdom, the two have become great friends.

First Post(Plus The Storm Runner Headcannon)

WARNING!:

This is a headcannon for the Storm Runner So in case you haven't read The Storm Runner, or you don't want spoilers(can't relate, sorry) I suggest you may not want to read this Headcannon, now HEADCANNON TIME!

(Giving you space for spoilers, turn back for no spoilers)

Alright so you know how since Zane is the offspring of a god, right? So that means that he can read other people's minds. So I have a headcannon (headcannon, not offical!) that if Zane were to touch other places(forehead, forearm, hand, etc...) then the touches would give diffrent results(keep in mind this is only when the target is sleeping, which is when most people are in their most vulnerable state)

So I have givin this a quick run down on what happens(may add more soon(?))

Forehead

If Zane, or any half-god were to touch someone's forehead whist sleeping this would cause the current dream to trasfer into the person's head, revealing what the target was dreaming about.

The person would be in the dream, but could not be seen or interact with anything(like with Hazel's flashbacks when she brings Leo with her)

Hand

If the half-god were to touch the target's hands while they're sleeping they would most likely only hear the disturbing sounds that come along in the dream. (It's like the one on the forehead, but without visuals)

And sometimes the sound would fuzz out, like as if your talking on the phone with low singnal.

Under the neck(Where the MAIN blood pulse is)

If a half-god were to touch where someone's main pulse is, or under the neck they would learn of all the bad stuff that has happened in the target's life, and make the target have a terrible nightmere, reliving their worst fear...

Normally if the target was having a bad nightmere naturally it would add to the nightmere and make their pulse quicken. This effect still lasts even after they put their hand/fingers off of the neck.

This could make a great combo if you wanted to know someone's fears, all you would have to do is put fingers on neck, wait for pulse to quicken, take fingers off, and put fingers on target's forhead(The neck pulse doesn't give visuals or sounds)

Under left forearm(Left is apparently bad luck)

Under the forearm would be where their worst real life memory was(maybe it was a pet dying, family member in a coma, or diet coke spilled on them after they took a bath) whatever it is they'll relive it.

This is not the same as under the neck, where under the neck was what their worst fear is, under the left forearm is where their worst memories live.

Under the right forearm(Cause right is apparently good)

Under the right forearm is their best memory, and is basically just the opposite of the left arm. Where the left arm brought fear, the right arm brings comfort.

This could be used if you were a docter and were watching over tense sleeping patients(can you believe I had to look that up to not spell it like I was a three year old?). Even though the chances of being a half-god and also a docter or someone who looks after people are very slim, it could just work for your traveling companions.

Ending

Alright, so this is a headcannon and I would like to know your thoughts on it(I at least think it would be cool) I may add to this later but... yeah that's all I got...

Brooks sometimes acts like a hawk(getting the urge to attack random small animals and such) sorta like what happens when the Kanes get gods inside of them...
