EgoTober Notes and Master List

Hey Gamers! So @tracobuttons has dropped the Egotober prompt list and this year, I'll be writing again. I've been writing for Egotober since it was started but in years past I only got a few out, there was no cohesive story. Last year I actually wrote every day and it got a lot more attention than I expected. Last year I had a coherent storyline, and because all stories were left on cliff hangers I'm going to continue with it during this year.

One thing that happened last year though was a lot of people asking me how my universe worked around the Septic and Iplier Egos and this post will serve as that information post.

I’m probably a bad person for laughing at Akechi’s rank 6 because I get that it’s a very serious subject, but the fact that Akechi tells you this in the BATHHOUSE of all places while joker just kinda sits there awkwardly will never not be funny to me— Akechi, I love you, but please wait until we have clothes on to trauma dump.

Ren (and some Shuake) headcanons:

• Ren is a huge jewelry person. He loves jewelry but he doesn't like cheap stuff so he only has a small collection.

• Ren has severe ADHD

• Ren gets headaches easily

• Akechi regularly gifts things to Ren after they get together

• During the time Akechi was "dead" Ren spent a lot of time dating around desperate to fill to hole Akechi left behind.

• Ren speaks several languages. He learned them while bored as a child.

• Ren used to dance growing up.

• Ren has been doing gymnastics and acrobatics since he was little.

• Ren used to explore abandoned buildings in his home town and continued to do so in Tokyo. He occasionally takes Akechi with him.

• Ren becomes an actual thief as an adult with a cover of being an actor who does his own stunts.

• Once they're together Akechi will do anything for Ren as long as he asks in a misguided attempt to make up for his actions when they were younger. Ren hates is and is trying to get him to stop.

• Growing up Ren spent a lot of time napping in trees. He broke his arm falling out of one once when he was a kid.

• Ren has had a shitty relationship with his parents for years and was relieved to be away from them and viewed his probation as the perfect way to get away from them.

• Ren is a kleptomaniac.

au where persona's can be anything that's popular enough. ren finds a winnie the pooh persona and falls in love and instantly is like 'i need him.' so he gets him and he is Strong.

the twins tell him to execute him and he gets sk genuinely offended at the idea of executing winnie the pooh like are they insane????

he makes it his goal to get as many disney characters he can and upon finding jiminy cricket he gives up (jiminy is a horrifying giant monster)

he sees santa once and he spends the rest of the day sobbing because santa looked horrifying

akechi first thinks pooh is so stupid and why does he even have it. then pooh just one shots multiple shadows effortlessly and he gets filled with so much hatred towards that bear cause how thE FUCK-

More Ren (and Shuake) headcanons

• Ren has been medicated for his ADHD since he was 7

• Akechi refuses to spend more than $10 on gifts for anyone, with the exception of Ren who he spends well over $100 on regularly

• Ren spent over a month as a child speaking like he assumed the Fae did. No lies and in circles. Everyone around him was extremely annoyed. He still does it sometimes for fun and to annoy people.

• Ren has read all of the original Sherlock Holmes stories.

• Ren loves Fairy Tales specifically the original versions.

• Akechi proposes to Ren using a ring his mother always used to wear.

• Ren is a clothes thief and will regularly steal his friends clothes. They never know till he shows up wearing it. He's stolen at least six of Akechi's jackets and Akechi keeps having to replace them because Ren won't give them back.

• Ren dresses as the live action version of Maleficent, working wings and all, one year for Halloween. He made the outfit himself.

• Ren absolutely loves the X-Men, specifically Rogue.

• Ren makes Akechi dress as Rouge and Gambit for Halloween one year as a couples costume.

• Ren, Haru, and Ann have regular "bitching" sessions where they complain about anything and everything for fun.

• Akechi becomes either an actor or a full time Foster Parent post-canon
